L for Leaving

I woke up and went to Kyla's room seeing her holding a picture and crying.

"What you got there Ky ?"

She looked up and gave me the picture. It was a picture of me her mum and dad. I smiled.

"What happened to this family ? What's wrong with us ?"

"Nothings wrong Ky it's just that all families go through things like this and some don't ; sadly we are the few that do but if mum and dad take a separation for a while we might be able to become this family again" I said giving her the picture.

She smiled slightly.

"I think I should stay with mum ; she's pregnant and she's gonna need some company"

I looked at her and shook my head standing up.

"Same old mummies girl dad is trying give her space and u wanna stay ? Fine by me" I said with attitude laced in my voice "I'm sure if they never had you this family would still be together"

I felt a sting on my cheek and saw as she pulled her hand back.

"Man fuck you Ky"

I stormed out her room and went back to mine doing the last of my packing. I wouldn't have wanted to stay with them any ways. I got all my bags and walked down stairs to where mum, dad, Daisy,  Jordan, Jayden, Jarell, Faith and Kyla where.

"You really leaving ?" Mum asked.

Dad picked up my.bags and took them to the car.

"Yeah : Ky said she's staying to keep you company and I'm. Gonna keep dad company" I said smiling.

She was on tears and opened her arms.

"Don't leave me Kam I'm. Sorry"

I shook my head no and walked over holding my mum as she cried.

"I can't let my dad alone mum ; you know I'm gonna visit you...a lot we only living with Grams"

"But she moved to jersey"

It's true Dad's mum moved state she was only going for a holiday but decided to buy a house and stay so that's where me and dad will be staying.

"Mum I will phone you everyday" I said sighing as she cried harder.

Ky was holding mum ; mummy's girl.

"Baby please he don't need no one"

"And you do ? Get out of it Kayla" Dad said annoyed.

Faith would be also coming with us because that's where she be staying why she hasn't been around.

"Kido we gottah get going or we messed up the schedule"

I nodded and picked up my side bag. Mum was crying with Ky.

"Aunt Daisy thanks for being there when I need someone the most"

"Anything for you Kam ...just make sure to phone me okay ?"

I nodded and hugged her.

"Uncle Jordan you need to fix ya self up ; you had a perfect woman by your side who gave you 2 amazing g young boys I want you to think about it and when we come back yall happily married again"

He sighed and pulled me in a sad hug.

"I promise" he whispered before kissing my cheek.

I went over and hugged Jayden seeing as he was pretty quiet.

"Love you Jay"

He nodded and walked over to Ky. I looked up at Jarell and he looked away. I sighed and took his hand headed up to my room.

"So you just leaving ?"

"My dad needs me Jarell"

"I need you too Kam"

I felt my heart speed up : I looked into his eyes and kissed him.

"I need you too ; just remember I love you"

Before another word was said he took off his lucky chain that he's been wearing since he was little.

"Don't forget me Kam" he put it on me then kissed me again. "I give you permission to talk to other guys but don't ever forget me ; I promise u no girl can replace you and I wouldn't talk to any other girl because their not you"

I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

"I love you" I said again hugging him.

We shared one last kiss before going down stairs.

"Come on mini me"

I hugged everyone again before I got in the car. Jarell was hugged up on Daisy.

"Bye" I mouthed once faith got in the car and dad pulled out.

Everyone but Ky waved.

"Dad wait"

I got out the car and ran over to ky hugging her tight. She finally released the tears she's been holding in.

"I'm gonna miss you kam"

"Ima miss you too Ky be good"

I pulled out a locket and put it on her. She opened it and it had a picture of me and her when we was younger on one side and me and her now on the other.

"Don't forget me"

I smiled and kissed her for head then ran back in the car waving just before dad pulled out and down the road.
