I looked up and our eyes met. I felt something happend in my stomach. I blinked.

I got remember the past situation growing up between us. A smirky smile appeared on my face.

"So?" I started.

"What?" She asked without breaking the eye contact.

"Is your special treatment only for me or for everyone?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Good grammar huh!"
she smiled it off.

"Don't change the topic" i said getting a bit closer to her.

I saw her cheeks turning red as i got closer to her . she looked down. Her feathery hair was all on her face trying to hide it.
I don't know what was going on in my mind. It was something out of my control. My breathing rate increased. I could feel my heart beat... every single pound in my chest. I slowly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She looked up directly in my eyes. And it felt like the time has stopped. There was only me and she..noone..not a single being..not those hospital beds even. I could feel a magnetic attraction to her. I started leaning. She did it too. It felt like we both wanted it. She closed her eyes in a soft way. I was about to touch her beautiful lips with mine. But i heard someone coughing in the back. She quickly opened her eyes and pulled away.

I was in shock for a moment. What just happend? We were about to kiss?

I looked around and my eyes found that old lady staring.

Maria left the room.

I was all ashamed and embarrassed. Did she see something? Is she gonna say this to the doctors? Maria gonna be in trouble for me if it occurs.
I shook my head. I couldn't let it happen.

I looked around the room. There was no doctor nor nurse.

I made my way to that lady's bed. She was looking at me as if she has just landed to the earth. It was so funny. I tried so hard to keep the smile inside. It was getting impossible. "Uff" i groaned.

"I have to talk to the lady.. i have to". I told myself.

"She is my girlfriend" i finally let out those words keeping my eyes tight close.

"Not yet" she chuckled.

I was like 'wtf'. My mouth was quite open and my eyes widened.

"Look at you" she chuckled even harder.

Did i say any joke? Why is she laughing? I couldn't understand. So i made a sheepish smile.

"I heard eveything when you were talking to your dad" she winked.

"You have a good choice tho" Elizabeth completed.

I couldn't believe it. I let out a big relief laughter.

"You are so cool,granny" i smiled.

"I know,right"

"Wait"

"Yes" i nodded

I could see her smily face turning all sad.

"Did i say something wrong? I am sorry for that"

"It's ok dear" she slowly smiled.
