Kylie's POV:

It took weeks but I finally found the perfect little house in Oregon. Away from California and away from randy. With the name change and everything else changed, he wouldn't be able to find me for a while. I moved the few boxes I had and set them in the living room. The furniture I ordered online would be here soon so I settled on setting up the kitchen.

As soon as the delivery guys got here and set up everything I was exhausted. Once they were done I settled into the couch and stared at my new flat screen tv. It was perfect here. And now my bedroom was organized and all my clothes were put away and the outfit I took when I left Randy's house was in a box at the back of my closet.

Being away from randy broke my heart but I felt stronger now that I was out of California. I pulled my knees up under me and leaned back into the couch, still favoring my ribs a little and watched my movie and slowly dozed off.

I woke up to my phone ringing and i looked at the number before answering it. It wasn't in my contacts so i was hesitant to answer it but did so anyways.

"Hello?" I asked and felt my heart racing as I heard a voice at the other end of the line.

"I found you, Makylie." Randy said and I dropped the phone and ran around the house, locking all the doors and windows and pulling all the curtains closed. When I returned I could hear him yelling through the phone and I slowly picked it up. "Where did you go Kylie? Are you okay?"

"Stay away from me, randy." I whispered and felt my heart break with those words.

"No can do, sweet cheeks. You see, you're my girl. And there's a chance you're carrying my child. And if you are, you're dead. Every rival gang on the west coast will want to kill you. So no matter where you hide, they will find you. Now you can tell me where you are, and we can protect you, or the rivals can find you and kill you. Your choice." Randy said and I knew the decision I had to make.

I gave him my address then hung up and laid my head back on the couch. What have I just done? I let the devil walk right back into my life and didn't do a damn thing to stop him. My hand settled on my lower stomach and i focused on what he had said. I'm possibly carrying his child?

I ran upstairs to my bathroom and dug around the cabinet before I finally found what I was looking for. A pregnancy test. I took it and set it on the counter, then paced back and forth as I waited. A little ding signaled it was done and I broke down at the symbol. A plus sign. I was pregnant by a gang leader.

It was hard to dig my phone out of my pocket but I managed to it and hit the redial button to call randy back.

"Yes, kitten?" He asked and I heard a cars engine rev.

"I'm pregnant." I whispered and then collapsed onto my knees, jarring my ribs with the impact. "What do I do?"

"James and I are on our way. Pack your clothes. Now. Then pack whatever you don't want to lose. That house will still be yours, and we may return but we don't know yet. It'll be less than an hour until we are there. Don't answer the door for anyone. Stay in your bedroom." He said and I heard the worry in his voice. Since when do gang members worry about a woman? "Listen, Kylie. I'm sorry. Why did you change your name?"

"I didn't. Makylie is my full name. I just hated people not pronouncing it right so I just went by Kylie." I said and settled down on my bathroom floor.

"Hurry and pack. 54 minutes till we get there. See you soon." Randy said then the line went dead and I sighed. I took the boxes I already had and threw into them everything I wanted to take with me and waited until I heard a truck pull up in my driveway. I got a text message.

Open the front door, kitten. -R

I ran down the stairs and flung the door open, and was instantly greeted by the barrel of a gun and then I was backed up into my house. The man looked furious.

"Well hello there, Kylie. How are you this fine evening?" The man asked and I felt my heart racing more than it should be.

"W-who are you?" I stuttered and stared at the relatively short man. Boring red hair and brown eyes. He wasn't much to look at.

"Let my girl go, Anthony." Came a furious voice from the doorway and internally I was jumping for joy that randy was here to save me. Not that I needed saving or anything. I could have totally handled mr tree gnome over here.

"What fun would that be, randy?" The man asked with a laugh and I gasped for breath as my asthma kicked in and i fell to my knees, unable to breathe. "What's going on with her?"

James ran upstairs to my bedroom and came back down holding something. He uncapped my inhaler and helped me take the two puffs I needed then held me as my breathing settled i heard a gunshot and watched the man called Anthony fall into my carpet. Then I passed out with randy yelling my name.

When I slowly woke up I was in a truck, in the passenger seat and I hesitantly looked over and found randy driving. It took a few but soon he noticed me staring at him and he smiled softly.

"How are you feeling?" He asked as he reached over and placed a hand on my thigh.

"Fine." I whispered and tried to push his hand away, but instead he squeezed a little harder and a moan slipped from between my lips. This made him smirk and I wanted to kiss those lips of his. Ugh. What's wrong with me? Oh yeah, he knocked me up.

Knocked up by a gang leader.

"What's so wrong with that?" He asked and pulled into a gas station and turned to face me.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, completely confused.

"Being knocked up by a gang leader. What's wrong with that?" He asked and I realized I had said it out loud.

"A baby doesn't need a gang leader for a father. It would be better if you just took me back to Oregon and let me raise the baby on my own." I said and Then got out.

"No can do. Because I actually like you, sweetie." He said and draped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me into his side and placing a kiss on the top of my head.

Damn. Maybe I liked him too.
