It took a few days before I fell into the rhythm of everything but soon I was up before anyone, outside running laps as I listened to my music. We had a full track around a football field and I trained and pushed my body as hard as I could, half the time making myself faint from exhaustion. But I needed to be stronger. Randy was planning something, I felt it in the pit of my stomach.

But I kept running and soon felt someone behind me. I quickly reached into the waistband of my shorts and pulled out my gun and aimed it at the persons chest. But it was Keith.

I ripped out my earbuds and put the gun back before focusing my attention on my boyfriend. His eyes were gentle and he smiled at me when I finally relaxed.

"I didn't know you carried a gun." He said and wrapped me in his arms.

"Yup." I said, popping the p in that he just smiled and shook his head.

"What are you doing out here this early? I went to your room to sneak into your bed and hold you while you slept but you weren't there." Keith said as he nuzzled my neck and I bit back my moan.

"training. I need to be stronger. Randy is planning something, Keith. I can feel it in the pit of my stomach." I said then continued to run the track, only stopping when my knee gave out and I collapsed onto the track. But Keith was right behind me and helped me back up.

"Hey. How long have you been doing this?" He asked as he pulled my arm around his neck and lifted me up and carried me into the house.

"Since we buried drake." I said and sighed. It was hard not to cry but I've been distracting myself lately.

"That was 5 days ago. How long do you spend out there running?" He asked and stopped in front of the nurses door.

"Look, I appreciate your help and all, but I'm fine Keith. I can take care of myself." I said as I pushed myself out of his arms and walked away, back outside to continue running. I've lost 3 pounds since drake was buried but gained more muscle in my legs and my stomach lost the curve from my child. Losing a baby isn't easy, but knowing that now I have no ties to Randy made it easier.

I plugged in my headphones and cranked up the music as I went back to running. My legs burned and my breath fanned out in front me as the temperature dropped and snow started falling again. Before I knew it I slipped on an ice patch and landed hard on my hip, but just laid there instead of moving and stared up at the sky.

"Are you watching me, drake? Can't you see I'm miserable without you? You were supposed to protect me and make sure I survived. But instead you died. All because of Randy. I lost the baby, drake. We both knew it was going to happen eventually. If i hadn't miscarried, Randy would have taken it from me. Now you've got it. You've got the baby. Just give it kisses from me and tell me I love it so much." I whispered and closed my eyes, feeling the snow landing and melting on my hot skin.

The music changed and Jolene by Dolly Parton came through the speakers and I got a text message. I pulled my phone out of its holster on my arm and stared at it.

I'm coming for you. -r

My heart sped up and it made me jump to my feet and run to the house. I made it inside and shut and locked the door.

"Dad!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and got multiple people running towards the living room.

"What's going on, Kylie?" My dad asked as he came out of his study and ran his fingers through his hair. He had bags under his eyes and a look that said he was pissed.

"Randy's on his way." Was all I said before his eyes widened and he crossed his arms.

"How?" He asked and then saw my phone in my shaking hands. I may have physical strength but when there's no adrenaline I'm pretty weak and easily frightened. That's what I'm trying to get rid of.

I held my phone out to him and his gaze got dark and he trembled with anger.

"Get ready for an ambush guys!" My dads voice echoed through the house and then the people in the living room dispersed to get ready. But two stayed in the corner. A girl with blue hair sitting on the lap of my blonde haired boyfriend. And he had his arms around her, locking lips.

I walked over and grabbed her by her hair, throwing her to the ground and kicked her in the ribs and heard one break.

"What the fuck, Kylie?!" Keith yelled and I saw red as I grabbed him by his throat and slammed him into the wall, my adrenaline flowing through my veins.

"You're cheating on me? I can kill you for this." I snarled in his face and saw his eyes get dark and he shoved me away.

"You ran away from me, Kylie!" He yelled and his hands clenched into fists at his sides. "I love you and you turned away from me when I was trying to help you!"

"Maybe I don't want your help!" I yelled and tears poured down my cheeks. "Why is it that everyone wants to help me?! I'm not weak or defenseless! I can protect myself! If you want to be with her, fine. But don't ever come crawling back to me!"

His face fell and I turned and walked upstairs, still crying and slammed the door. I wiped hastily at the tears and ignored my heart ache as I stripped off my workout clothes and took a shower before pulling on a skin tight black tank top and blue jeans with a black and white studded belt. Then I pulled on black combat boots and laced them up and looked in the mirror.

I pulled my hair back into a tight pony tail and put on eye liner to make me look different. I'm dying my hair after all This is over. Goodbye old weak Kylie. I'm done letting people walk all over me. I'm done with being cheated on.
