"Welcome to behind the scenes of My Hero Academia! I'm your host Melissa Shield and joining me today is Mrs. Ochako Yagi, the actress behind Ochako Uraraka or Uravity of Class 1-A." Melissa introduces as the camera pans to show Ochako in a pink dress and her hair done up in a bun.
"It's a pleasure to be here Melissa, my husband and cousin have already been on the show and I was so excited to be on when the producer asked me if I wanted to say a few words." Ochako thanks Melissa before taking a sip of her coffee to her right.
"If you don't mind, I have a few questions the audience has sent in and want answered but we'll go through the normal stuff first. Now, from what I have been told you have a debilitating fear of heights despite your character having a zero gravity quirk. How did you get into the roll of Uraraka Ochako with this setback?" Melissa asks.
"I honestly have no idea. I bet the producer was thinking 'How did we get a girl who's afraid of heights to play a girl with a zero gravity quirk?' The first day on set was really bad because of the stunts during the entrance exams." She responds with an image of her crying not wanting to be so far up in the air shown on the screen behind them.
"OH MY GOD!!! How did they get that?!" Ochako yells seeing herself on the screen behind them then starts laughing about the outtakes.
"That must have been terrifying for you." Melissa says chuckling at Ochako on screen screaming about the height.
"No matter how many times I asked, they never got me a stunt double.." Ochako complains.
"What's it like living on set, in the interview with Tenko, Izuku and Toshinori, they mentioned that you all live on set and build all the buildings for use for the public?"
"It's weird, with how much some of us get into our characters, it's like we are living in their world. We have to find that difference between that world and ours so we don't start living like our characters would. Most people on set like my brother in law, Shouto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima and several others are method actors. For those who don't know, it means they get into their character so well they believe that they are the character. I can't tell you how many times I've caught my brother in law fighting with my husband because the two didn't realise we were not filming and thought they were Deku and Shigaraki." Ochako explains showing a picture of Shouto standing in a corner facing the wall saying nothing.
"That must be a riot, what about your children? We have yet to see them in the show so what is it like with the two of them on set?"
"My daughter mainly stays with Aizawa since he and the actor for Hitoshi Shinso have pets on the set and most of the kids play with the literally hundreds of cats they have. As for my son, he sticks around his father when he's not on screen but when we're filming he's either with his grandmother or my parents." Ochako explains. "My son and daughter are twins with my son being the older of the two."
"We know they are going to be playing characters on the show and your son will make his appearance first but can you tell us what his name is and not his character's name?" Melissa asks.
"Oh, his name is Kota and my daughter is Eri. Kota will make his appearance in season 3 and he's very excited to get to appear on set." Ochako says with a laugh before the screen behind them shows Izuku and Kota sitting next to each other.
"Are you excited Kota?" The producer asks, the young boy nods furiously at this.
"Yeah! I get to punch daddy in the junk!" He shouts causing several people to start laughing.
"Oh! I see what you mean by excited." Melissa says as she starts laughing hearing his reaction.
"We're actually wrapping up filming for season 3 soon and then taking a break from filming for a little while." Ochako explains causing Melissa to raise an eyebrow.
"Why is that?"
"My cousin and his wife are finally having a baby and she plays a character that's going to be seen in the end of the current season and a bit through season 4. She's only a couple weeks along but that will change and she will show very quickly."
"Oh! Tell Katsuki and his wife congratulations then!" Melissa chirps with excitement.
"I have a question for you now, what do you think about the filming process of our new movie, 'My Hero Academia: Two Heroes'?" Ochako asks with the camera now turning to face Melissa.
"I didn't think it would be nearly as hectic as it is. We even managed to get Godzilla to cameo on set and it's amazing."
"I know, the kids loved him so much! Eri was a little scared but her brother was super excited to see him. She's only four so a 150m tall lizard was very scary to her." Ochako chuckles, with the screen behind them showing a display of Kota and Eri looking up at Godzilla.
"We've asked this question a few times on this show but, what do you guys do when you're not filming? Tenko had mentioned that he runs a Dungeons and Dragons campaign with a few others on set, do you play with them?" Melissa asks.
"Oh yes. We even convinced the costume and effects department to make us costumes for when we play. Tenko is an excellent dungeon master and manages to run a game consisting of over 25 players by himself but sometimes will get Kurogiri to co-DM with him. He's actually modeled our campaign after some of the stuff in the show. Currently he's decided that he doesn't like Katsuki back talking to him when he is trying to paint a scene and had struck him with lightning. He was dumb enough to weild a great sword in the middle of a thunderstorm in game and promptly died so, we are on a mission to bring him back with a resurrection scroll." She laughs thinking about how much her cousin screamed about dying in such a way.
"I bet that was an interesting experience in the aftermath." Melissa says through chuckles.
"You have no idea. The funniest part was his reaction and the bit mid game. He instantly stopped talking, looked at his character sheet then had Todoroki light it on fire. Tenko tried to stop him saying they could resurrect him but it was too late." Ochako responds.
"Last question before we wrap up for the evening. With the reveal Inko's brother and your uncle in law playing All for One the main villain for the show, is his actual quirk the same thing and what was it like trying to go through the lines for the last part of the Kidnapping arc?" Melissa questions.
"Oh, Hisashi is a riot. His character is reserved and high class and pure evil but behind that he's a fun loving goofball of an uncle. Single best actor i've met. The way he plays All for One is scary and intimidates me in less than a second. I remember watching the first scene with All for One speaking through the computer in the league headquarters and the first time we watched it I got goosebumps from being scared. He may be a good actor but he has a tendency to get carried away and adlib when he's not supposed to. Then there's times where he forgets his lines entirely, which happens to all of us. You wouldn't believe how funny it is to hear this super villain monologues about killing his arch nemesis then forgets his lines and starts making random noises. As for his quirk, it is the same thing and he is the warden for Japan's highest security prison where we actually built a replica set for filming. He is the warden for the real Tartarus facility. He's a very nice man but when me and Izuku were dating he scared absolute crap out of me. As for how he works with the kids, Eri is scared of him and Kota constantly bugs him to wear the helmet." Ochako explains showing a picture of All for One and another of his actor who is a dark green haired man who looks like an older version of Izuku since Hisashi is the twin brother to Inko.
"I wonder what it's going to be like when we get him on this show. Anyways that wraps up everything for this episode. Next time we will have a bloopers reel and a short interview with Todoroki Shouto and Todoroki Enji. Until next time, say it with me. Go Beyond. Plus Ultra!" Melissa and Ochako say the catch phrase in unison and throw their dominant hand in the air before the episode fades to black.
