~Chapter 7~ Simply, Miraculous

The twins arrived safely at home and were escorted to their rooms. Adrien texted every one of his friends asking if they were okay and they all replied that they are home safe, he was so relieved. His friends meant a lot to him and he didn't know what he'd do if he had lost them. Just then he turned on the TV to see what was going on, but then again, nobody knew what the hell was going on.

"This is Nadja Chamack, Don't be bemused it's just the News! Reporting to you live from the eiffel tower with what seems to be, a rock monster! The police have created a barrier around the eiffel tower and the army is on their way, who is this monster and what is it doing?"

Adrien stood there shocked and dumbfounded, he didn't know what was happening. He wished he was helping out more and could do something. Just then he looked down and saw a hexagonal box with a beautiful design on the top "What is this?" he asked out loud.

Across town, Marinette helped the man cross the street and get to his apartment building room. His coughs that Adrien said he was having seem to be getting better, but as they were climbing up

"This is my apartment, thank you young lady." The man said

"Anytime! I live just upstairs if you need anything Mr-?" Marinette stuttered

"Uh, Mr. Car-stairs I mean Mr. Carson." The man lied

"Uh okay. Have a great day Mr. Carson and stay safe!" Marinette replied with hesitation and uneasiness. Mr. Carson went into his apartment and Marinette ran upstairs to the safety of her bedroom. She turned on the TV to see what was happening,

"This is Nadja Chamack, Don't be bemused it's just the News! Reporting to you live from the eiffel tower with what seems to be a rock monster! The police have created a barrier around the eiffel tower and the army is on their way, who is this monster and what is he doing?"

Marinette sat there shocked, how could this have happened? She wished she could help more, she loved when she helped at the school, "UGH there must be SOME WAY to help them!". Just as she said that something caught her eye down on her desk, saw a hexagonal box with a beautiful design on the top "What is this?" she asked out loud.

Adrien picked up the box and examined it carefully and noticed a small latch to open it. He opened it carefully and a shining light emerged, and started circling around the boy. The light was so bright he covered his eyes with his elbow. After the light vanished, he lowered his elbow to see a small cat-like creature flying eye level to him.

"What- What are you? Who are you? Are you like a genie in the bottle?"

"If i'm a genie where's my lamp? Besides he grants wishes what's the big deal. Whatcha got to eat though?" The creature remarked. He flew around his room looking for food. Adrien ran after the flying creature biting everything he encountered that isn't editable. After a five minute chase between the creature and Adrien, the boy pinned the entity and asked,

"Who are you and why the heck are you here?"

"Listen," the creature sighed "The name's Plagg. I'm a kwami, I give you superpowers, yours is the power of destruction. Get it?"

Adrien shakes his head no

Marinette picked up the box and shook it like a kid opening a present on Christmas morning, she heard a small object inside, she opened it carefully to reveal a small ball of light flashing around her room. Marinette covered her eyes, for the light was blinding. After it did a full circle around her room, it came back to her eye level. A little red creature with black polka dots, it looked like a little misshapen ladybug.

"AHHHHHH WHAT ARE YOU? MOUSE? BUG? BUG MOUSE!" Marinette screamed

"SHHH no no no! I am here to help you Marinette" the creature re-assured

"HOW THE HECK DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?!" Marinette yelled. She found a glass jar and captured the red creature inside.

"Okay, well if that makes you feel better!" The creature said with a giggle

"Who are you, what are you? And how do you know my name?" Marinette asked

"My name is Tikki and I am a kwami. I grant you magical powers and yours is the power of creation!" Tikki replied

"This is a joke, MOM! DAD!" Marinette hollered for her parents

"Shh! Shh!" Tikki tried to tell her when she went through the solid glass jar "Marinette i'm here to help you I promise! You and your partner are the only people who can stop stoneheart!" Marinette stopped calling for her mother and father

"Ne- Nevermind!" Marinette looked at tikki "Okay. You're telling me I can help?" Tikki nodded her head. "Alright, what do I need to do?"

"So you're telling me I put this ring on, say magic words and I'll transform into this, this, super hero?" Adrien asked his kwami Plagg

"Mhm. Thats all you need to do. And you must promise to never take the ring off." Plagg sternly said

"I promise, so these words are..?" Adrien asked

"Oh Claws out. But before you do I need to explai-"

"Sweet! Plagg Claws out!" Adrien said as he cut off Plagg mid sentence. A bright flash of neon green light went around his body, Adrien was blinded by the light so he shut his eyes. In the blink of his eyes it was over. "Did it work? Plagg? Plagg!" He said as he wandered around his room when he came across the mirror. When he looked into the mirror, he didn't see himself as Adrien Agreste, he saw himself as a superhero. He had cat ears, a stick, a tail, and a black leather bodysuit. "Woah." He did a full turn around and played with the stick he detached from the back of his cat belt. "So, I guess I should go look for my partner huh?" Adrien said opening his window and leaping out of it to the Paris rooftops.

"Okay this is happening so fast, so I don't know If i'm ready for this Tikki. So I put the earrings on and I need to keep them on? And what do I do when the atuta-"

"It's an Akuma, and you need to capture it before you do anything else. The akuma is usually always hiding in an object that is on them, like a russian doll. And you must promise to never ever take the earrings off. They could be used for terrible things if they fall into the wrong hands. To activate your suit, say spots on." Tikki Explained

"Spots on?" Marinette asked. Just then a bright flash of pinkish-red light went around Marinette's body, she was blinded by the light so she shut her eyes. In the blink of her eyes it was over. She looked at her stand up mirror and looked at herself in a red polka-dotted body suit "Okay Tikki I want my normal clothes back. Tikki? Tikki!" Marinette yelled frantically looking around her room. There was a loud crash outside, "So, Capture Stoenheart's akuma, and a partner?" She asked as she looked outside to see someone jumping from rooftop to rooftop.
