"Where's the gang staying?"
"Dang, straight to the point huh?", the younger asks, genuinely surprised as the older has just sat on the chair in front of him, fresh out of shower and hair still wet and messy.
Taehyung only shots him a serious glance before opening the laptop he seems to take everywhere with him, and start typing something.
"I didn't even answer?", Jungkook asks in confusion, his eyes showing slight amusion as the older only sends him another one of his glares.
"I was just typing the question down. Now answer the fucking question, we don't have all night if you want to sleep on a bed tonight", the deep voice says annoyed, wanting to make clear that he's not here to play at the moment.
"Okay sheesh, chill", the younger can't help but say as he has a weird urge to tease the older even further with his unnecessary brattiness.
"They aren't staying at one place as you should know. They are huge and hidden, I don't even know all the places they have in their hands", Jungkook finally says after not getting any answer from the older like expected.
Jungkook is just acting childish in front of an adult again.
Nothing new in that.
"Well, that's expected. Where did you meet up with the members yourself then?", The prosecutor asks again as he keeps typing on his laptop, a focused look on his face, his eye brows arched into a beautiful frown and hands moving fastly on the keyboard.
"Well, I haven't met that many of them to be honest. I was only a new member who was too risky to let know too much. Yuta was the one who told me things I shouldn't have known yet and of course I heard some things on my own. I didn't always believe everything Yuta said."
It's quiet for a minute if the sound of Taehyung's fingers hitting the keyboard doesn't count.
Then the prosecutor finally stops typing and glances up at the younger with no reason. But he's surprised to see a frown on the youthful face of the boy in front of him.
The look on Jungkook's face shows that he has been through a lot and the prosecutor can't help but wonder what the boy has had to witness during the last month or so.
A few minutes pass as Jungkook keeps spacing out and the older only observes his eyes that seem to be holding so much pain and sorrow.
The eyes that he saw the first time he met the boy weren't exactly lively but now that Taehyung has seen his eyes after that long one month, he can definitely say the boy had lost some more of the twinkles in the big doe eyes he owned.
When Taehyung is starting to have a weird and unwanted feeling in his stomach as he stares into the dark eyes of the younger's, that seem to be holding endless amount of untold stories, he improves his posture in the chair he's sitting on, and clears his throat with a cough.
