Shirou and I, unfortunately, had to be separated from the baby to get it checked so we were sure he was healthy. While waiting, Shirou and I made contact, it was pretty awkward.
Though, he went earlier to a restaurant called Ishitasai (not a real restaurant I think) and got me some miso soup, salmon, rice, spinach, and tofu, some (F\D), on the side 6 (F\D). The regular Japanese breakfast.
Now back to now we were just sitting in awkward silence. Shirou was watching me eat. With nothing to do just waiting he finally broke the awkward silence, "So, you just gave birth to a whole human being, huh?"
"Why're you being so awkward all of a sudden?" I said with a straight face biting into my salmon and taking a bit of rice and spinach with reusable chopsticks the s from the stores' bag.
"It's just that it baffles me that you just gave birth! It's just.. I'm so happy but so worried if you ok." He says with a worried and tired look.
I took his hand in mine, I leaned in and placed a peck on his lips, he kissed back, and soon, we heard the door creaked. We pulled away in excitement.
We saw a must come in with a baby in her hands. Our excitement taking over our fatigue. Another nurse with some document in her hands came in grinning.
"He's so cute! You two are so lucky!" The nurse holding our baby said happiness oozing out her kindergarten teacher-like voice.
She gave me the baby while the other one gave Shirou the documents. They left but after them came Michiru along with the mayor, Mr. And Mrs. Horner.
"Hi (Y\N) and Shirou!" Michiru whisper-yelled the mayor was carrying a gift with a baby blue wrapper wrapping the gift.
Mrs. Horner had a pretty little design on it while Mr. Honer was carrying three gifts with different baby designs on them.
He seemed to be struggling to carry them. Shirou went to help the middle-aged man and giving a sheepish grin to the people in the room.
"We heard from Shirou you have birth so we came to greet you." The mayor said a small smile creeping on her wrinkled face.
"Yes, I also cooked some curry to help with your blood loss." Mrs. Horner grinned, "We also all brought the little on some presents." Mr. Horner gave her a fatherly smile.
"Thank you, guys! You didn't have to." I smile while rocking the sleeping child in my arms. "Oh no, it was nothing!" We just wanted to congratulate you."
