3rd Person POV
Que entered his room, plopping down on the bed. Sounded corny, but all he could think about were those dazzling blue eyes. They must've been laced with some type of oxytocin. He looked over at his nightstand, seeing a picture of him and Tani together. He reached over for it, staring at it. He lightly tossed it on the floor, sighing. Was he a bad person? Because he had felt things for Billie, while being with Tani? He was stuck. Tani was surely attached to Que already, which made him feel even more guilt. The real truth was, he never lost feelings for Billie. Even when Tani officially marked her territory, becoming 'Brandon Adam's Girlfriend'. He felt like he needed to throw all the chances of him and Billie away, in the trash. Because she probably lost interest, and he knew she was focused on herself. He was happy and proud of her, though. His eyes fluttered shut, him trying to sleep. He was absolutely livid now. He couldn't stop seeing the aura of those ocean eyes, staring into his. There was no way he was gonna make it through these nights without constantly thinking of her.

Billie couldn't stop thinking about him either. You know, they do say, whenever they're thinking about you, you're thinking about them. She had to rethink her feelings, getting back with an ex? She saw it immature, almost. But is having feelings for someone immature?

Two months, Billie had visited Brandon so many times, it was countless. Though she didn't mind, she was always willing to help him. She was going to his house that day, but just to be a friend, and not his therapist or emotional support person. When she arrived, he opened the door to her gladly. She wrapped her arms around his torso, hugging him. Soon his arms were wrapped around her too. "Hey." They both greeted one another. They pulled away, and Billie took an extra second to stare at him. There wasn't any occasion, he looked how he always has. Sweatpants, a t-shirt, but it was something about the way he looked tonight that drove Billie over the edge. They sat on the couch, talked a bit about random things, in general caught up with each other. A silence came over them for a minute, Que interrupting it. "Yo, you remember that one time Gawa was blasting Bellyache in the car and we was just in the back?" He chuckled. "Of course I do!" She chuckled too. She bit her lip at the reminder of sitting in his lap during the time being. "You want some food?" He questioned her. "Yeah, sure." She responded. He pulled out his phone, ordering off of Uber Eats. He ordered Taco Bell, getting himself a crunch wrap, and Billie 4 bean burritos. He knows mami likes to eat. "You know my order?" She asked giggling. "Of course, the hell, you always order 4 bean burritos every time we go out." He said chuckling. Billie looked over to see he had put a picture of him and Billie on the table. It was one of Billie on Brandon's back, them both laughing in motion. She smiled. The doorbell rang, Brandon excusing himself, getting up and opening the door. He thanked the delivery person and handed him the cash. As he walked back, Billie pulled out her Louis wallet, pulling out a 20. "No, you good." Brandon told her. "Nah, take the money!" She replied sternly. You either keep your money or I'm tickling your ass." He said seriously. Billie pouted, stuffing the cash in her back pocket, them both laughing. "You wanna watch a movie?" Brandon asked. Billie nodded her head as he opened the Netflix app on TV. After scrolling through the tons of movies, Billie spoke up and said "Dude Netflix doesn't have shit anymore." She laughed. "Right though?" Que responded. He found a horror film, looking back at Billie for approval, receiving a nod from her. "Do you need pillows and blankets surrounding you?" He teased. "I'm not a pussy!" Billie whined. Brandon chuckled, "Alright.". He turned the light off, the movie starting.

As a jump scare appeared on TV, Billie became startled. She squealed quietly, nudging into Brandon's side. He looked down at her, a small smile appearing on his face. She slowly peaked out of the blanket, that she was eventually sharing with Brandon. He giggled quietly, lifting his arm up and placing it around her, giving her easy access to cuddle him. Billie was in the moment. Really. She naturally wrapped her arms around his waist. The reminder of how safe she felt in his embrace made her remember what home felt like. And he was home. His scent brushing off of him, and onto her, his warmth, everything about it she missed. But for now, there was no point of missing it when she had it. And soon before she knew it, her eyes drifted shut.

Billie woke up in his guest bedroom. "Shit." She mumbled to herself. She was out of it last night, she thought. She reminded herself, he's her ex, and her friend, and only her friend. Maybe. She checked her hair, lightly combing her hair through. She slowly walked out into his living area, plopping down on the couch next to him. "So you still scared of scary movies?" He teased. "Shut up, I was in the moment." She laughed, rolling her eyes in embarrassment. "But, I didn't mean to fall asleep, I apologize." She sighed as her cheeks heated up. "Mm, you so cute, it's okay." He laughed, smirking at her. Billie looked down and to the side, trying her best to hide her tomato of a face. "Mamas, don't hide your face from me." He giggled. That nickname made her stomach drop, but it made her smile wide. She stood up, and cleared her throat. "I should get going." She stretched. "Alright, but do you wanna eat or something?" He asked. She placed her hand on her abdomen, "Actually yeah, I'm hungry as hell." She chuckled. "Girl what you tryna eat though? You vegan." He giggled. "You good with gluten free bagels?" She questioned. "Hm, sure let's go to the store." Que said standing up. "Wait, but do you have any clothes? I don't have spare ones on me." She said. "Yeah, come with me." Billie followed him to his room, as he directed her to the drawers. "All my pants and stuff are in there, t-shirts in there, I'm sure you know though." He chuckled. "Yeah, true." She laughed. She reached her hand down, not paying attention to which drawer she opened. So, she opened one with all his.. treasures. Ropes, cuffs, gags, vibes, too much. Billie knew he was a freak, and he'd used toys on her before, but she didn't know he had all of this. Being nosy, she dug around, finding condoms with Gawa's logo on it. She giggled at the thought. Condoms? She thought he didn't like rubber, but she supposed staying safe is always better. She snapped back into reality, pulling out a t-shirt and some sweatpants. She looked on top of his dresser, seeing his cologne. Her eyes glistened in the light, as she instantly grabbed it. She sprayed it all over herself. It reminded her of the nights they had, her snuggled up in his embrace. She smiled, because he had still wore the same cologne since everything. She also saw a few printed out pictures of the two. One where they were staring into each other's eyes, the happiest smile on both their faces. God, she remembered how happy he made her. But she couldn't get hurt again, it's not like he intentionally hurt her, it was really just attachment issues. But, the people who love you the most are the same that can and will hurt you the most, unintentionally. Things happen.

She walked out of his room, seeing him back on the couch, scrolling through his phone. "Thought you liked it raw, Seven." She teased. His eyebrow raised in confusion. She gave eyed him, to where he just knew exactly what she was mentioning. A smirk appeared on his face. "Now what are you doing up in my business, lil' girl?" He said staring into her eyes. Damn, the sexual tension was at it's peak. "Anyway, you look good, mamas." He added, sending chills throughout her body. "Thanks Que, now let's go I'm hungry." She pouted. They walked out into his driveway, hopping into his Benz. "Yo is that my cologne on you?" He smiled. "What can I say, it smells like heaven." She giggled. They turned on some music, playing some of Que's friends' music. Billie clicked on 'See Me When You Want', by Keith Lawson. "This one of Law's songs?" She looked at Que. "Yeah, it goes hard honestly." He said. They kept listening and singing along to their favorite songs. They pulled into a parking spot in front of the Trader Joe's. She lead him to an aisle where the wheat and grains were. She finally picked out a bag of gluten free bagels, as they walked to the self-checkout register, Brandon slipping his card out of his pocket. "Que, don't pay, I got it." She said, waving her card in his face. "Hm, despite your words, I don't think so." He said quickly swiping his card. "I'm paying from now on, mama." He said. Billie took a step back, crossing her arms in front of her chest and pouting.
