Almost 3 weeks had passed for Spencer but the memory still rest in his head a small bit faded away than what he remembered. Thought what he never forgot was the look of the creature's face, he could see it when he slept at night. Its horrible glowing eyes and row of tiny yet sharp teeth. Spencer had also been getting headaches and becoming more stressed out so he began taking more time to relax and go down to the pier. The pier was quite a popular place that everyone enjoyed being at, especially during the summers where it was hot during the day but cool at night, the kind of cool where you don't need to wear a jacket. The Pier was also great during the winters as they opened an ice rink in the lake where some of the supply carts would run by to deliver ice cream and treats to the stands. During the spring flowers would be put into pots at every attraction and the air would smell fresh with pollen and honey. During the fall the place was usually covered of leaves or there were pumpkins laid down across the platforms with spooky faces carved into them. Yes the pier was a great place to be and Spencer enjoyed it but it certainly didn't make his headaches go away.
He liked to stand front of the buildings and look over at the Ferris wheel with the coaster as small fire works that were not as visible due to the budget of the pier shined as brightly as they're little sparks could shine. After the pier Spencer would go and get a drink but that night he wasn't feeling very well. As he was driving to his apartment he got into the parking lot and walked out when he was approached by a couple of teenagers. He knew theses boys they were some pranksters from next door, they were clearly drunk.
"Its late you know, it isn't safe out here" Spencer warned the boys as they were about 7 feet from him. One of them had dropped their bottle, Spencer starred at it even in the darkness he could tell it was strong whisky. He looked at the boys once more.
"Yeah! Dangerous cause were out here ya one eyed freak!" The middle boy who Spencer had heard of as Jason yelled. His grandmother had also run a flower shop near the pier and always helped during the spring event. It was a shame to see her grandson in this condition.
"Y'all back off now lads, or I'll tell ya folks" Spencer warned again getting into a defensive stance. Suddenly his eye started hurting so he held onto it, because he only had one eye his view was completely covered and he was suddenly hit off guard by one of the boys. They laughed as Jason began to step closer, suddenly Spencer growling as his eye began sucking all of the orange out for a red center and nothing but a black void surrounding it as he suddenly grabbed Jason by the neck and held him in the air. He tried to scream but his voice was cut short by the tight grip Spencer suddenly had on him. The other two boys ran away down an ally as Spencer continued to tighten his grip on the boy grunting with his teeth clenched staring into the boy's eyes.As Spencer was about to possible tear his throat out, he suddenly gained his senses and dropped the boy. He looked at the boy on the ground panting for his life, he had no idea what he had just done. Spencer quickly ran into the apartment building and up the stairs to his apartment room and locked the door. He pressed his back against it as he began to slowly slope down onto the floor, he felt as if a new burden had just sprouted into his life and that it's bloom would be his doom.
