The day after Spencer had attacked Jason the police showed up at his apartment. He went peacefully with them as he did not want to get into anymore trouble. He was taken to court but he didn't know anyone who could defend him. Rick had volunteered to help Spencer out saying that it was the most he could do. Spencer also hadn't been allowed to wear his eye patch either as they said it could be a possible "danger" in the court room. Thought they never told him when he would get it back.
At the trail Spencer's growing pain began to worsen he felt as if vines were growing up his spine and started to feel an itch but he couldn't scratch it as he was hand cuffed and had two police guards watching him. He also had a whole court room watching him, some familiar faces he could recognize. Obviously he saw Rick, Jason who had a cast over his neck, Jason's mother Sammy Brown and some of Spencer's neighbors at his apartment. When he thought of his apartment he wish he took some more time to appreciate it before they took him, he use to watch trails when he was younger and they never ended well especially in theses parts of town.
The trail went on for about 3 hours ending with Spencer loosing and receiving 6 years of prison and a fine of $6000 dollars. Although there was a problem, Spencer did not have $6000 dollars so instead of receiving any help with this the Judge lazily decided to set him to 10 years of prison but still take all of his money. Spencer felt like screaming and would have caused a scene if he had not been hand cuffed. Some of the Jury along with Rick were also shocked but knew they couldn't do anything now.
On the way to the police car Spencer saw Jason's grandmother talking to a police officer, what was he thinking? He asked himself. Spencer went into the car and was driven down to prison. It took an hour for all of the registrations and counting for him to finally get the chance to rest in his cell. It was isolated from some of the other cells, a double room. Half of the room being the cell and the other half being a place for a guard to sit and watch. The guards would switch every hour, Spencer never said anything to anyone in that prison.
About 10 days in this would change however, it was right after lunch but Spencer had barley gotten anything as his tray had been knocked off the table by a fellow inmate and because they didn't allow seconds under any circumstances he had barley ate anything. To make things even worse one of the cocky guards was on shift to watch him."Ya look so blue, oh wait that's right, prisoners can't wear blue!" He said and laughed to himself, he always made theses strange unfunny puns. Not even the other guards found it funny, Spencer just ignored him as he didn't want to risk getting beaten for talking back. The cocky guard looked back and yelled at him.
"Ay why aren't you laughin! You inmates ain't got no soul in humor. In fact its cause ya got not soul that yer even behind those bars. Especially you ya bloody monster, funny they even let ya keep those damn idiotic colored contacts." He yelled angrily but then got a smirk on his face as he got up from his chair and approached the cell. Spencer looked as his eyes widened the orange in his eyes shining, he wanted to get up but a he was stuck as he looked at his back he had seen a vine going through his back and becoming stuck in a crack on the wall.
"Why don't I come in there and rip those contacts outta ya bloody eyes myself" He opened the cell door and approached Spencer reaching his hand for him. Spencer kicked him back into some of the bars of the cell. The guard stumbled back as he was not prepared for resistance. He looked back at Spencer and ran at him. Spencer twisted to the side and closed his eyes. All he heard after that was a vine snapping and the sound of the guard's breathing slowly die down.
When he opened his eyes he had sawn that the vine had thrones which had stabbed the guard straight through the chest. Spencer took a second to breath before picking up the body and walking out of the cell. He threw the body onto one of the tables and took off the guard's armor and weapons. He wore a protective vest which Spencer assumed he would need as he was now considered a KOS. The suit was thick and had two protective grenade holders, there was also an SMG attached to the holster. The clip of the SMG was still full though Spencer only had a basic idea of how to use it and so he would have to use this clip sparingly as reloading could leave him open. Finally he grabbed a key card from the guard and used it to unlock a phone which was also present in the room. He decided to dial Rick but was automated to a voice mail to which Spencer promptly responded.
"Rick lad, its me Spencer don't ask any questions and please listen very carefully. I'm going to escape this bloody nightmare of a place but I need help getting out of town. Meet me at that pumpkin patch we had the dare at. Don't bring anyone with ya as yer the only one I trust for this lad. Don't call me back."
Spencer said as he hung up the phone and heard knocking on the door looking over and squinting as he let his "guests" in.
