It was a late afternoon at the old lumber facility, before they use to cut and chop so much wood but was now the home to a gang of the badlands. They were named the RADS for their red type clothing and their heavy inspiration from the Reliable Excavation Demolitionists (R.E.D). A current argument was going on between two of the members. An American man with a brownish jacket, it was open and under had a white shirt; His name was Rick. The other man was cloaked with a Scottish voice and wore a red short sleeved shirt with a long-sleeved white shirt under it. He wore an eye patch even though he actually had two eyes; His name was Spencer

"What do ya mean I lost the bet! I did everything you bloody asked!" Spencer yelled at Rick as Rick replied in an annoying voice "You didn't finish that pack of beer I told you to finish by morning."

"Lad it was bloody midnight and I only forgot one bottle!" The Scottish man replied back.
"A deal's still a deal, now you have to sleep in that pumpkin patch or else you're a chicken, and you know chickens aren't allowed in the gang." Rick said to Spencer with a smug look on his face, Spencer hated that look.

"Ugh fine I'll sleep in the damn stupid patch, only so you'll shut ya bloody trap ya snake" Spencer said, he was very fond of this and was still feeling a bit dizzy from the bet which he would fail either way. "Alrighty then, sweet dreams ha ha ha" Rick laughed as walked away.

[ 40 minutes later at Spencer's apartment]

Spencer was packing some things for himself, a sleeping bag, a regular backpack with basic supplies for survival. A flashlight which had very low battery life in it, some half-eaten snacks, and a blunt pocket knife which he probably would have used to carve some pumpkins if he got bored.

[ 20 minutes later at the gate of the old pumpkin patch ]

It was told this patch use to be owned by some wealthy manor owners which is why it was rather large. There were large fields filled with rather healthy looking pumpkins beside that field was a small little shack and a tree which Spencer decided to take a small rest beside. From behind the shack was part of the manor, it was rather large with a huge door on the front and some panned glass.

Spencer leaned beside that tree for about two hours flipping his blunt pocket knife in his fingers again and again trying to land it correctly before he hit the red. The knife fell onto the cold grassy grounds and his finger dripped with red. He held his finger and rubbed it on his shirt to try and stop the blood but he knew it would vanish like that so he just decided to leave it be, and hope that would be the last of his worries in this dumb patch.

It was around 1:30 when he began dozing off still leaning on the tree when some rustling was heard behind him. His eye opened looking left than right when something finally jumped out from behind the tree.  It had the face of a carved pumpkin, a devilish smile with teeth, its eyes were ovals to the sides and it had a branch implanted in its head. It wore a red shirt and cargo pants with rubber gloves on its hands.

"What the bloody hell!" Spencer screamed at he tried to get away but the creature grabbed his shirt and ripped it a small bit

"What the bloody hell!" Spencer screamed at he tried to get away but the creature grabbed his shirt and ripped it a small bit. Spencer grabbed his blunt knife and stabbed the person in the chest. The person fell onto the ground causing the knife of fall out, although the knife didn't appear to be covered in blood. It was covered in some sort of sticky orange substance and smelled of pumpkins. Spencer wanted to run away but was curious of who this person was so took the pumpkin head off of the man but there was nothing under it, no head. His face was frozen as a bit of orange liquid came in contact with the wound on his finger, it stung as he stepped back and began running not looking back not ever wanting to look back and what he just encountered.
