Hope woke up on the wrong side of the bed. She was hardly trying to continue her sleep but because of the discomfort all she did was turn around endlessly on her bed in the end. Noticing how her blinds are still hiding the sun from her, she pulled out her phone and realized that it was just past noon.
Suddenly, her eyes caught a glass of water on her bedside table and a headache capsule. After drinking, she almost choked on her water when she remembered the events last night.
She and Hoseok played beer pong against her cousin; and they horribly lost against him and a random girl she wasn't familiar. Thinking that she was probably too drunk to function last night and reach their house without any scratch, it must be Yoongi.
And if Yoongi is involved, her parents are now definitely aware of her midnight rendezvous. In a heartbeat, her parents would automatically forbid her with it. Realizing that, going out her room would bring much more pain in the head, she forced herself back to sleep. Thankfully, she drifted back to dreamland.

Hope had no choice but to go down and eat dinner once she woke up again. As expected, the entire dining room was silent when she took her seat. Only the sound of utensils clanking the plates were audible. She thought all she had to do is endure this suffocating tension between her and her parents. It'll be over once she finished her foor. But then, her mother started talking.
"How did you end up in that place last night?" Looking up at her mother, she might look calm and collected but deep inside Hope knows that she's in a fury of madness. Should I tell the truth? That way, they'll know that Hoseok is a bad influence, they'll never allow me to meet him ever again. She thought that that would be the solution and a way to get out slightly from her parents' punishments.
"Ho—" before she could even start, the doorbell rang and her mother stood up to fetch whoever is behind their front door. She glanced at her dad who's completely ignoring her out of disappointment. Losing hope for tonight's dinner, she just quickly eat her food to get away from the torment her parents are making her feel.
She knows they're just worried about her. But as a person who lived almost her entire life inside her room, she wanted to experience going out and having fun. Strolling at night is therapeutic for her for some reason and she would feel more complicated if the only thing she could do was taken away from her.
Once finished, she stood up but then she saw her mother and her cousin standing side by side. "Yoongi wants to talk to you," her mother deadpanned and Hope just nodded her head.
She and Yoongi both entered her room with a sigh. "Thanks for last night," Hope frowned, saying words that are not completely sincere.
"You know I can't climb the roof with you on my back right? I had no choice but to knock on your house's door last night," her cousin explained. Yoongi sat on a free chair while she lied down on her bed. "Why were you even there last night?"
"I had a business to attend to," she casually stated. Not even her cousin knows about The Red Knight. In fact, Yoongi is one of her customers. One thing she observed while tending him as a customer is that his cousin can be incredibly rude to some people.
"At a party? You think I'll believe that alibi? How do you know Hoseok?"
Hope thought that she got away with her mother's lectures, all thanks to Yoongi. If only she knew that he would interrogate her the same way, he could've eaten her dinner faster. "I met him while I was taking a night stroll," she said, annoyed.
"And?"
"That's it," she snarled. "Don't worry, I don't like being near him anyway. He's an asshole," she added.
"That's good to hear," Yoongi muttered. But in his head he remembered Hoseok telling him today that he would pester Hope until she goes nuts. He badly wanted to beat the shit out of him but he doesn't know that Hope is his cousin. Although Yoongi doesn't plan on hiding it for a long time, he'll tell his bastard friend to never meet with Hope again. "When he talks to you again, just create some distance, hm? Make sure you don't show any interest."
Hope laughed at the last part of his statement. Interest? People are interested in Hoseok? "That's funny," she snorted and Yoongi found it annoying that she's not taking his words seriously. "Why do you even care about him?"
"He's a friend; he's not entirely kind to everyone," he explained.
"Well, tell your friend to stop visiting me whenever he can," Hope rolled her eyes.
"He, what? He went here?"
"Yes he already did," Hope sighed. "Apparently, he acted and looked decent in front of my parents. I can't believe she's Granny Peters' grandson, I mean, how can some jerk come from an angel bloodline?"
"Did he tell you anything?"
"Nothing that I don't know of. Although he got my number by stealing my purse. Ever since then he calls me everyday."
"And?"
"Sometimes he would ask me to come out during the day," she laughed sadly.
"You know you can't," Yoongi spoke.
"Of course," she felt more dejected answering that.
"Alright, don't worry. I'll tell Aunt and Uncle that it was my idea to go out for a party," Yoongi breathed.
"You will?" Hope slightly jumped from her spot. "Thank you! Oh my god, you're a life saver."
"Don't be too sure. That doesn't mean they'll allow you to sneak out every night," Yoongi scolded and his cousin frowned upon realizing what he said. "Just don't engage to much with Hoseok, hm? If he calls, ignore it. If he comes by, tell your parents to tell him you're sick," he instructed.
"That's the thing, Mom is quite fond of him," she scoffed.
Yoongi felt all anxious. If ever Hope falls for Hoseok's wickedly evil charms, then she would experience the kind of heartbreak that every girl who dated him experienced. He knows that Hope is not the romantic type, he have faith in his cousin. It's Hoseok that he doesn't trusts even though they're friends.
Based from Hope's stories of how they met, it's necessary for him to give her some directions and warning about his own friend. Because everything Hoseok did so far to her was a sign that he's locking on his new target.
