Thanks to Yoongi's save, Hope's parents decided to skip the lectures and scolding for now. But that doesn't mean she's allowed to go out at night whenever she sees fit. They still think that the world in dark is a dangerous place for someone like her. On the other hand, that also doesn't mean that Hope will just sit back and watch the world run on its own without her seeing it.
It's still early. Her parents are still downstairs watching their favorite evening show on the television. If she sneaks out now, it's impossible not to be caught or heard. After finishing another awkward dinner with her disappointed parents, she ran upstairs and went to her computer to check her website and email. Suddenly, she forgot the password of her email.
It became a hobby of her to log out any Red-Knight-related social media account on any of her gadgets. Hope's parents can be too intrusive, especially her mother, and she can't afford to get caught. The idea of their daughter earning money in such a way is not really honorable for them. So for now, only Hoseok knows what she's up to.
To retrieve back her email, she ran some identifications tests and a few codes that have been sent to her backup email to change the password. This reminded her to list down her passwords on her different accounts. Still, it's a wonder how she forgot a word she uses daily. I must've lost my brain cells for a second. The password is at the tip of my tongue, I'll eventually remember it. She thought to herself.
Once she opened her email account, her eyes glared at the top message. It's from Hoseok's email.

Hope wished that she could just ignore him like how Yoongi wants to. But at some point, she'll not be able to resist it when he calls for her, since Hoseok is practically blackmailing her.

Instead of receiving another email, in the following minutes, her phone rings and it flashed the devil's number. After a soft sigh escaped her lips, Hope answered the call. "So, you like talking to me now?" she can imagine the subtle smirk on his face when said that.
"What is it that you need me to do?" she breathed. It's better this way, she thought she should not engage in whatever delusion Hoseok is playing in his head. Simple, if he called for a service from the Red Knight, then she should only converse to him in that profession.
"Can you hang out with me this Saturday?" Hoseok sounded so confident and Hope hated it.
"I'm sorry but the Red Knight only does commissions like school projects, papers, and the likes. If you're lonely, Tinder is always there," she answered calmly and on the other line, Hoseok laughed.
"Do you really hate my guts that much?" he huffed.
"No, I hate your very existence," Hope barked leaving the guy on the phone speechless.
"Ouch, that hurts," Hoseok acted, but he couldn't care less. Seeing how Hope is resisting his charms, it became like a challenge for him; a difficult one but he sees thrill in it so he's not bothered by how hard he will surpass this obstacle of a woman. "C'mon, it'll be just two friends hanging out," he convinced.
"No. Call me again if you have more sense to talk about," without a second thought, Hope immediately pushed the red button to end the call abruptly. For now, all she has to do is check the forms of her customers. Once her parents are out and sleep, she'll definitely seek out for a cold breeze outside to find some solidarity.
=====
Hope arrived at a public park and sat right there on a bench. She always wondered how would it look like with people and children hanging out in it. It's always she and her shadow wandering around. Being homeschooled, it's difficult to earn friends. That's why up until now, all she can consider as one is Yoongi. They were inseparable when they were kids and she's glad that even under her strange circumstances, he's always there when she needs him.
"Look who's here, miss me?" Hope jolted on her spot as she heard Hoseok's voice coming on her left side.
"What are you doing here?" she exclaimed. "Are you following me?"
"Excuse me? You see that house," he pointed out a familiar abode, and then realization hit Hope. The house he's pointing at is the famous Granny Peters' home. Of course, he lives there. Now, this makes it a whole level of awkward for Hope. "Based on your overwhelmed face, you already know what I meant," Hoseok shrugged with a smug look.
In all honesty, Hope wanted to curse herself for not remembering that her destination for tonight is basically an area where she should avoid at all costs. If Yoongi caught her here she would've died already out of embarrassment. She promised her cousin she wouldn't see this asshole yet fate really has a way of vexing her.
"What are you even doing outside?" she mumbled to herself and the guy chuckled.
"I came to throw out the trash, see?" he enthusiastically raised a black garbage bag he's carrying behind.
"You should throw yourself out too," Hope stated blankly. "Just saying."
On the contrary, Hoseok finds her saltiness as a charm and he thought that if she's doing this out of spite and to make him leave her alone, she's wrong. It's making him want to stick by her side for a long time to hear her say more mean stuff to him. He knows it's weird, but he does really find it amusing.
"What's with your sunglasses? The sun isn't even out," he tried to change the topic with a beguiling smile painted on his lips.
"None of your business," she replied shortly, and then she stood up on her feet. "I'm going," she deadpanned and didn't even spare him a glance after leaving.
Hoseok, on the other hand, watched from afar as her small figure slowly disappears from his sight. If he couldn't persuade her to hang out with him, then he's going to make her want to hang out with him. And he just had the perfect plan in mind to do that.
