The Anti-void was a little different today.

It shook and rumbled from where he stood, frozen. The only home he'd ever known was crumbling before him, an unfamiliar darkness quickly taking over.

From a far, the once vast white darkening drastically into an endless sea of black that was quickly approaching. It surrounded him on all sides, leaving him no where to run.

It was like it was mocking him once it grew closer, inching ever so slowly towards him, daring him to even consider trying to escape beyond it's grasp. He didn't, he couldn't, so he stood there until his knees finally gave out making him land on the patch of white beneath his feet.

The sea of black held him, forcing his body to lay back on it as it swallowed him whole. His body flailed with violent kicks as his arms were held at his sides, thrusting his torso upward when the use of his legs were taken before he resulted to screaming when his middle sank below the black.

He screamed until his voice was eventually taken too. Leaving his sockets to shed their last tears before being taken under completely.

Leaving him to drown in the sea of black.

A bright light shined in his face when he woke. His face felt damp and his sockets had an incredible itch he couldn't scratch. Something that wrapped around the lower half of his face restricting any and all movement, the strap across his forehead forcing his skull to stay in place against a cold surface. His entire body wouldn't budge, no matter how hard he tried. A sudden chill went up his spine at the cool metal against his back.

What is this?

The light hanging just above his torso squeaked as it swayed.

He didn't like it.

The chill returned, starting at his toes and slowly making it's way up.

Where was he?

His cheeks felt wet.

Why couldn't he move?

A loud bang echoed out, making his body jump. The soft clicking of footsteps growing closer, the sound of a pen going across paper and a something being dropped before the footsteps continued.

His hands balled into shaky fist, a useless last effort to ready himself for whatever was to come.

Then a white skull popped into his view, blocking the light from his face. Two big, gaping holes with small circles of white within them and a lip-less mouth. They blinked down at him before their face slowly morphed into confusion.

His own sockets were wide and unblinking at the thing, discolored pupils shrinking by the second. Tears refusing to stop, his body shook beneath the restraints.

He'd never seen or met another living thing.

He'd never been so scared in his life.

He didn't know what else to do but cry.

"Are you... crying?"

That was the all it took.

His sockets forced themselves to shut as his mouth trembled, he would turn away if he could. He panicked, fear had completely overtook him.

Whatever was on his forehead was removed, letting him turn his head. He peeked open a socket, sniffing at the other that had moved to get a better look at his face. A hand gently tilted his head to the side, causing him to flinch which made the hand jerk away for a moment before quickly returning to tilting his head every which way, they were looking for something.
