A/n: Hey! It's been awhile sorry about that, writing has been a struggle lately. But here's a short chapter pertaining to the dorms, I hope you enjoy. Updates will hopefully be more consistent after this :)

After the weekend, both you and Bakugou were healed enough to return to school. As well as being cleared to train with the rest of the class under strict supervision. This was a relief of stress to both of you. You were glad to have back a touch of normality to your life, but today was a very important one, not only for you, but the whole class. Today was going to be dedicated to you and all your classmates picking your hero name. Neither you or Bakugou had the slightest idea as to what you wanted it to be. Aizawa had repeatedly stressed how important it was to make sure the name you picked now, was a name you wanted the world to associate with you. You being incredibly indecisive and anxious about permanent things, this wasn't necessarily the most calming situation. Even if in some ways, this could be looked at as fun.

As you sat quietly in your seat, going over all the possibilities for a hero name that sounded decent, but also matched your quirk, you nearly tuned out the entire class completely. By the time you had come to, Midnight had entered the room and was in the midst of explaining pro hero names, basically reiterating all the crap Aizawa said in the week before. You personally never really planned to be the center of attention as a pro hero, but being half related to Bakugou was going to make that hard. Y'know, with the whole "#1 Pro Hero" deal. Midnight had finished her speech and began passing out wipe boards and everyone began to either write or bang their heads against them. At least you weren't the only one struggling, but a majority of the class seemed to be already writing names down by the ten minute mark. You hadn't even picked up your marker. You glanced over Bakugou's shoulder in front of you. He too was completely dumbfounded.

Eventually, people began to raise their hands and Midnight would call them to the front and they would display their board on the podium. Asui went first and chose an adorable hero name, Froppy. It was a perfect fit for a kind hearted hero like her, and it matched her quirk. Next was Uraraka, her hero name matching the same level as Tsu's. Uravity displayed on her board as cheers from the class erupted. The same cheers followed when Sero and Kaminari made their way to the podium, Cellophane and Chargebolt were definitely names you'd never forget. Todoroki was ready next, and his was as simple and pleasant as he was. Shoto, his first name would be deemed his hero name from that day forward. This gave you an idea, maybe you could do that too, y'know just for the time being. But you decided against it as Iida followed through icyhot's footsteps. His name displayed on the board, him hiding behind it as if he was somehow ashamed of it.

Lastly, was Izuku, you could only imagine how incredible this must be for him. You could remember the days you would walk to the park with him and Katsuki when you all were seven, the blonde drilling it into Izuku's mind that he would never be a hero without a quirk. You remembered feeling bad, but also not disagreeing, because in reality, how would that even work? Watching Izuku walk up to the podium, his hands gripping the wipe board like his life depended on it. Bakugou's hands cast through his hair as he growled quietly down at his board, his first two attempts being rejected kinda pissed him off. Who knew "Lord Explosion Murder" wouldn't be fitting for a hero? Slowly but surely, Izuku revealed the name written across the board. The name you remembered so vividly, the memory of hearing it for the first time when you were five still fresh in your mind. "Deku", the name Bakugou used relentlessly to tear Izuku down, was now the name that the world would remember him by. Midnight, along with all of you was ultimately and utterly confused. But no one was as shocked as Katsuki, his gaze would have burned holes through Izuku and the board. At first, you thought it was a completely stupid decision, but as you thought about it longer, it made sense. This was Izuku's way of redefining the thing that broke him down for so many years, and that in itself was powerful enough to be a hero name.
