   Splendids POV

Several months have passed, and we were moving to a quiet little town called happy treevile. I mean it looks nice, it's quite small compared to the town we used to live in. Then again our old place was rather in a city, not much of a town. I sighed, looking out the small cars window glancing at the side mirror to see the large moving trunk following closely behind them. I wasn't the biggest fan of moving, I don't believe many are. Leaving all your old friends behind, starting anew in a sense. No one knows who you are, so they have no reason to fear or hate it. At least they shouldn't hopefully, unless it started off with a bad start.
It felt.. odd as he past through the town, seeing all the different buildings and homes. I could even make out a large tower like building, but we didn't pass by it so I couldn't tell what it was. But it peaked my interest, what's with this large tower like building? What secrets did it hold? I snapped back to reality as the car lightly jumped, having hit a bump in the pavement. A ditch, that had pulled me back to life. I blinked lightly, looking around taking my eyes off the fading tower and began scanning the streets with wondering eyes.
But for a split moment I noticed a tall person, dressed in green. They seemed to be wearing some form of camouflage, maybe a hunter? But as quickly as the figure appeared they seemed to disappear as we passed by them. I shook my head, soon shifting in my feet as I lightly stretched out my limbs which felt sore and stiff from the lack of movement from the car ride. But we would soon be coming to a close, and we can get out.
"We're nearly there right?" I asked glancing over to the tired red hair sitting besides me, who's eyes only looked upon the road before them.
"Yes, were nearly to our new home" he stated with the slightest hint of pride, his been like this ever since he managed to secure a house here. I don't really know why, but I guess some people wanted to live here or there was very limited houses. But I have no real thoughts on why, I would think with a murder count so high for such a small area no one would wish to live there. But I guess the chance of dying in a place you love is better then a place you hate? Not totally sure. I glanced out, noticing as they flew by the town becoming once again distracted by my own thoughts.

"And we're here!" Suddenly splendont said with joy as we pulled into a nice paved in driveway to a cozy appearing one story house. It was a nice tan color with white outlines, and a pale grey tilting for the roof. Though the house seemed to need some work, I could see in parts were the parts were turning green, it'll need a wash. And maybe a fresh coat of paint, at least for the door. But it looked like a nice little family home, next to the door the large window which allowed me to see into a large empty room. Looked like it'll be a nice living room, though it was empty it'll soon be filled by life. Moving in all the boxes, all their belongs and setting up their new house. Some things they couldn't bring, and would have to buy.  But in this way, they could do a different way to decorate their home.
Once the car and trunk were parked, I unlocked my door and hopped out jumping onto the grass as I turned and flopped onto the grass. Taking away my breath, but I didn't truly mind as I stretched out my sore limbs trying to wake up my body from the long drive there. But as quickly as I got out, it seemed by brother was quickly as quick. He climbed out of the cars driver side door, putting something into his pants pocket. Most likely the cars key, he soon casually made his way over to the front of the house pulling out roughly a small jagged key. Placing the key inside the doors lock, turning it firmly to the side the house made a odd clicking noise as it unlocked. He turned the doors handle, opening it up allowing access to the house.
"Alright boys! Please start bringing everything in I'll help you place the things.. you too splendid" Splendont said firmly shouting lightly to the rather deaf movers, they sometimes struggle to hear if you used your normal voice while not around them. But they were rather nice, though younger then us they helped their dad out with the moving service. They nodded as they clamored out of the trucks doors, hopping down from the raised vehicle.
I huffed getting myself up, I needed to go place my items anyways within my room. It'll be easier that way then to try and direct them to my room, seeing as both rooms basically looked identical besides one being slightly larger then the other. Walking over to the large truck, brushing myself off from the grass bits hanging onto my clothes. I was slightly wet from the still drying grass, but it didn't make me worry. It was just some minor grass stains.
Soon the movers pulled the large steel door open, sounding like a large slap of a hand. Once fully opened you could see within, there was plenty of boxes ranging from small to large, to extra large. The largest ones were mainly our bed, and our TV we refused to leave. Though where will put it, I'm not too sure. I glanced around, my eyes narrowing to see within the darkened area that had yet to adjust to my eyes. Once they adjusted I saw several small boxes in front marked with my name, I carefully grabbed two placing them onto each other. While I did this I could see the two others grab some rather heavy boxes in front, marked living room and kitchen.

Several hours passed and I was drained and worn, but it was decorated!.. not really. We had gotten all the boxes inside and in their proper rooms, I had my mattress out and a lamp for light. I even made my bed, though to be fair it wasn't much of a bed quite yet. I was right next to the floor, though it was nice it would also be a tad odd until I can set up my bed. But we didn't wish to reveal much or make us stand out, such it had to be. If we got all set up in one day, it'll make some wonder.
I'll work more on my room tomorrow, or at some point during the week. I want to explore the area more tomorrow, get my feel around the area. I will also need to find a new job, seeing as due to the move i had to quit. I couldn't go between the two places effectively, unless I wish to be caught. If anyone saw me and recognized me without the costume, we would have to move. One reason why I didn't risk it, if I didn't have my costume on and someone I knew saw me, our cover would be blown.
I shook my head, it has happened once before sadly. It was when I was younger, I wanted to cheer up someone by flying them around. They loved it, everyone else didn't. They screamed and panicked, which I guess is rational. Seeing a kid flying with another kid isn't something you see everyday, and can be rather terrifying if you saw your kid with the flying one. Neither of us really understood why we couldn't see each other after this, their mom feared me. Thought I was going to hurt him, I mean it was possible I was still adjusting to my powers at that age, but I wouldn't do it on purpose. I enjoyed playing with him, playing hide and seek then him jumping out at me scaring me. I tried to do it to him, yet I never managed to scare him
I wonder if he still remembers? Probably not, it was a long time ago. I don't even remember the kids name, just his face and voice. But that wouldn't help me find him, and even if I did how would i explain myself? Sadly though, days after this event me and my family did move. Whether or not it was because of it I still don't know, but i never even got to say goodbye. We left in a rush, without warning. If you knew us you probably would question why we were suddenly gone one day, and never have a definite answer.
I should shifted, going over to my bed plopping down on it as I folded my arms behind my head. Why was i recalling this now? Of all times.. why now? Was it because we moved that its bringing up old memories, or was it something else. I sighed, shutting my eyes as I wandered off into the deep abyss of my thoughts.. eventually falling asleep where I laid. Shifting to my shift, lightly snoring as the dark crept into my room.
