"Why we can't contact our forces? What the hell happen?" Shogun ask as his call to Delta 9-1 is cut abruptly
"We have no idea, sir. A massive electronic interference is disrupting our broadcast system. Any radio contact into the city has been cut off" An analyst reported
"Is it a jammer?" Shogun ask
"Could be, sir. But we're not sure" The analyst reply
"Scan every part of the city with every scanner we got. I want to know what the hell is going on" Shogun ordered as the analysts began scanning Tokyo for the cause of the interference
"Sir! I believe I located the source of the jammer" An analyst said
"Where is it?" Shogun ask
"I believe the jammer is broadcast from a transmitter above the NTV Tower on Higashishibashi, Minato City, sir" The analyst inform
"That intel is useless if we can't contact our troops in the city to destroy it" Shogun gritted his teeth "Do we have any other way to contact our troops other than radio waves?" Shogun ask
"We could use free-space optical communication, sir" An analyst suggested
"A laser comm" Shogun realize "Can you use it to contact our troops at Narita FOB?" Shogun ask
"I could try, sir. One of our drone in the airport have FSO technology. I could contact it and use the drone to contact anyone on the base" The analyst said as he prepare the connection
"We should have connection by... now" The analyst said as he open a call to Narita FOB
"Anyone on Narita FOB, this is Shogun. Do you copy?" Shogun ask
"BZZZZ... BZZZZ... This is-BZZZ... This is Delta 9-1-BZZZ... I copy" Izuku said as he make contact
"Delta, good to hear your voice, son" Shogun said relief
"Good to hear a working radio. Things are shitty here, sir. Our troops are scatter and confused. We can't contact anyone, sir" Izuku reported
"Delta 9-1 listen carefully. The Liberation are using electronic countermeasures to jam our comms and guidance systems" Shogun explain
"I copy, where is it?" Izuku ask
"The primary emission tower is on top of the NTV Tower. I need your team to destroy it. The jammer's full spectrum, so until it's down, you'll have no radio contact. Many of our forces are being killed in the blind, Delta. Destroy that jammer" Shogun ordered
"Solid copy. We'll get it done" Izuku comply
