Nightmares of my Past

PROLOGUE

"Allison! You bitch just brought an embarrasment to the family! Get out!" In a furious wind halos sirain na ng kanyang ama ang kwarto dahil sa nalaman nito. Inawat ito ng mama niya to loosen up his tension.

"Simon, just stop it. Let your daughter choose who and what she wants to be–" she cuts her off with a hard slap and harshly grips her face.

"Really huh? We are talking about the family's legacy. Dahil sa pagkukunsinti mo lumaking bobo yang anak mo!" nanlilisik nitong sabi sa asawa.

Alli knows what would happen when she ever retaliates to her father's decision for that so called 'own goodness'. Truly, she will be forever stuck in this pandemonium.

Kelan ba? Kelan ba yung tamang oras at panahon na siya mismo magdedesisyon para sa sarili. After her 19 years of existence, still she's a puppet.

Tugtog dito sayaw doon. Pagod na sya. Pagod na pagod na. All she know once she step outside the door her father's rituals are waiting for her. How miserable life could be knowing that your living with a monster.

"Allison! Get out of your room!" patuloy na sigaw ng daddy nya.

She stared a couple of seconds in the ceiling, let out a sigh and opens her door...

'PAK!' Her father meets her with a hard slap na ikinatumba nya at walang pasabing marahas na hinablot ang kanyang buhok.

"You, have done nothing to this family! You disgrace us- my family's name!" untag nito habang dinuduro sya. "Is that hard to pass the entrance exam for law, huh?" at napasubsob sya dahil sa pagtulak nito. "What a shame for an honor student to not meet the percentile of enrolling Law!" he exclaimed throwing the newspaper to her face.

Why did it become the headline btw? Simply, their family is one of the most valiant law firm. Who would ever missed that atom-like details of them?

"And its that hard, dad, to support me- my ambition and goals in becoming a writer? Since then wala akong amor sa pag aabogasya. Ink and paper is my passion!" she rage. Pinagpag nya ang kanyang damit at inayos ang sarili before tooking up a courage to talk back. "You did also nothing for this family but being so irrational and self-centered arrogant mon-" di na niya natapos ang kanyang sasabihin when another hand landed on her face.

"I mortifi-"

"Mortify me then. Wala akong pakialam if you freeze all my bank accounts. I know who I am and what can I do to sustain myself. Pagod nako maging tuta. Not even kuya and ate can rebutt from you but exclude me! Starting right now lets cut our ties as father and daughter." she utters heavily.

"Allison, hija! Dont..."pagsasaway ng kanyang ina.

"By the way, thank you for giving me a 19 years existence of hell."

Dali- dali syang umalis ng bahay ni walang kasamang gamit but only her wallet which has minimum amount of penny. Alam nya na she did make a wrong move but still she's determined whatever riffs lies ahead.

At sa paglabas nya nakita nya ang nag iisang taong nakakaunawa at sumusuporta sa kanya. She hugged her tight at doon na binuhos ang luhang puno ng poot at frustrations na pinipigilan nya kanina.

"Hush now love, Im here. You– we can get through this. Im just here, okay? Im all of you no matter what," then he kissed her temple at inakay patungo sa sasakyan.
