wedding day

Your birthday has ended, the wedding is tomorrow.

You sit in the garden for what you think could be one of the last times...

"Hello darling" a familiar voice whispers from the distance,
"How are you feeling?"

You reach out behind you and pull him down next to you,

"Overwhelmed.."
You say,

"Me too" loki mumbles,
You start to feel slightly bad, knowing you hadnt thought about how loki felt once,
"The wedding is tomorrow! Can you believe it?"

"I know darling, it feels like just yesterday we were playing pranks on thor and running from the guards!"

"On the brightside we dont need to sneak into eachothers bedrooms anymore" a smile creeps across your face as you say this, you lean in to lokis embrace and stare out at the pond,

"Did you ever wonder where this garden came from... I mean it's definitely not natural, there is a bench and everything!"

Loki looks at you confused,

"I acctually dont know..." he replies still sounding unsure of himself, "let's ask thor, hes old maybe he knows"

"Good idea!" You say as you shoot up and run towards thors room, still holding lokis hand,

You arrive at his chambers and knock on the door, he opens it to see you looking up at him excitedly,

"Hello y/n... hello brother, how can I be of assistance?"

"You know that garden we always used to hang out in?"

"No, I dont reca-" before he can finish his sentence you grab his arm and drag him back to the garden,

"This one!" You exclaim,

"Oh yes I remember this!"

"Where did it come from?" Loki asks walking toward the bench,

"I dont know..." thor says, with the same confused look that loki had,
"Why dont we ask heimdall, he will know!" Thor says excitedly,

You walk up to the bridge to find heimdall sitting still not blinking,

"Is he.... ok?" You ask slightly worried for the man,

"Yes he is fine y/n" for replies as he walks up to him and taps his shoulder,

"Hello thor, I know what you are going to ask and yes I do know where the garden came from" you stand in shock wondering how he knew but before you say anything loki whispers in your ear informing you he can see everything, therefore he saw your earlier conversation,

"The garden has been around since before even thor was born, odin built it with frigga when they were young, they believed it to be destroyed in one of the wars but it was only covered up by overgrown plants!"

You all stand there with a surprised look on your faces, the garden you had known since you were children was built by odin and his wife when he was your age, wow, you bid your farewells to heimdall and hurry back to the palace before anyone notices your disappearance, the day goes by and you spend it all with thor and loki, eventually you go back to bed only to be awaken at 4:30 am

"You have exactly 25 seconds to explain why you are waking me up at 4:30!" You say to your mother angrily,

"Its wedding day dear!"

"Oh, yay" you mumble with little enthusiasm and alot of sarcasm,

You get into your wedding dress and 8 hours go by before you are finally ready,, at 12:30 you head down to the ballroom to assure everything is prepared, it looks stunning, they take you through absolutely everything before finally announcing that the wedding will begin,

You take your mothers hand and walk down the long golden carpet, loki turns to see you and you have never seen him look at you so lovingly, you walk infront of him and take his hands, fighting the urge to kiss him right there, he looks like he is struggling just as much as you, the vicar finally gets to the fun bit,

"Loki Odinson, do you take y/n l/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do"

"Y/n l/n, do you take loki Odinson to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do"

"You may kiss the bri-"

Before he can finish loki pulls you in and kisses you, you have never felt more love in a single kiss than now, when you pull away the vicar looks slightly pissed but you dont care, you walk away and go to your new bedroom, he drops you on the bed and sits down next to you, you hug him for a solid 25 minutes feeling kind of free, it's a new feeling, you dont feel as trapped as you thought you would,

He pulls you in for another kiss and this one is much more passionate then the last one, it gets more and more passionate until...

Well you know what happens next 😏😉🤭

Ok anyways, the next morning you wake up and almost forget that loki will be next to you, you roll over and bury your head in his chest and he wraps his arms around you,

Best wedding day ever!
