Chapter 14

"Hey, you okay?" Scott asked walking into the room.
I nod and smile at him not really wanting to talk.
"That's good. If you want, tonight Isaac is going on a run to make sure no one crossed into our territory lines." He said as he sat down across from me. I guess I'm going to have to talk to him.
"Yeah, I'll go." I said and took out my phone. Great from me passing out, I cracked my phone. My mom is going to kill... oh, never mind. She's the one who got killed. It's all because of me. I'm the one who got her into this mess because I was the alpha. I didn't think his threat was real!
"Okay, I just told him. He'll pick you up around 6:30." Scott said drawing me from my thoughts.
I looked down at my phone in my hands, to see that it said it was already 5:33. I had a little less than an hour to get ready. "I better get going then." I said getting up.
As I leave Deaton follows me to the front. "You might want these." he said handing me a bottle of pills.
Thanks." I said as I walked out of the office. I ran to my house to see that everyone that was once here was gone. So I opened the door and walked to my room. I walks into my room and grabbed out my black sports bra and black sliding shorts, I used to play baseball with my brother. Then I changed and walked back into the living room to wait.
I waited an hour and a half for Isaac to finally get here. Once he arrived, he walked in like he owned the place. I rolled my eyes at him and followed him into my kitchen.
"Half hour late, you know?" I stated making him turn toward me for a second before he walked into my kitchen.
"Sorry, I was with Derek." he said as he grabbed a water from my fridge.
"Is he finally showing you how to fight?" I asked leaning into the counter.
"I know how to fight Alex."
I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed myself a water.
"I don't think you should be home alone, until we find who killed your mom." Isaac said while scratching the back of his neck.

A/n just wanted to tell you guys that if I don't get a C or higher on my bio test I'll have all my electronics taken away for 6 months. So if I don't update for a while that's why.
