When Y/N got a dm asking if he wanted to be in the next MCC tournament he was thrilled. He never got invited before and this was a good opportunity to show of his skills and boost his channel. Right now, he had around 300k Twitch followers and 200k on YouTube.
Of course he agreed to the invitation and started training right away. About 3 days later he found out who his Teammates where: Sapnap, Badboyhalo and Wilbur.
Now he was in the middle of the tournament. They were currently deciding what game to play next.
"Skyblockle would be the best option for us right now I think."
"Are you sure about that? Remember Wilbur's outstanding performance that one time he was teamed up with Techno, Phil and Tommy?" said Sapnap, trying to tease Wilbur
"Oh my god shut the fuck up" complained Wilbur
"Language! And now just think about it: We are all pretty good at PvP and Y/N is an amazing speed bridger. We could try getting to the middle before anyone else and get all the good loot before the other teams!" explained Bad to them.
"I think we could actually manage that with our team."
"Okay so we all agree with Skyblockle?" asked Bad.
The others all agreed and threw their chickens. In the beginning it seemed like Skyblockle was going to win but to Y/Ns horror he saw how the admins were moving the chickens to another section: build mart.
"Are you seeing what I see?" Wilbur asked
"The admins are moving the fucking chickens!" yelled Y/N really upset
"Language!"
"Why are they doing that?! Is that even allowed?"
"I mean they are the admins, if they want to than they can do it."
"Oh my god this is so rigged."
And with that the voting time was over and Build Mart was elected. They were all teleported to the game and a new countdown started.
"Okay, even though we wanted something different this shouldn't be to bad..." said Bad while jumping up and down.
"Uhm guys-"
"Yeah... maybe we can divide us already and sort out who goes to what section."
"Guys-"
"Naaah I think we should look at our builds first and discuss that in the game"
"GUYS!!!" yelled Y/n, finally getting noticed
"ImayormaynothaveforgottentotellyouthatI'mcolourblind"
"What was that?" asked Wilbur
"I may or may not have forgotten to tell you that I'm colour blind." Just as Y/N said that the countdown finished, and the game started.
"You are WHAT?!" asked Wilbur, shocked by the new information he just found out about his friend.
"Well why do you think I'm known for being shit at building things?"
"I don't know I thought you were just too lazy to make a good design-"
"What the fuck man-"
"Language!"
"Wait Y/n is colour blind?" asked Sapnap now
"Oh my goodness did you even try listening to what they were saying" said Bad annoyed at Sapnap's question
"no wait, wait so you can only see certain colour or their shade? Because a friend of mine is also colour blind and his vision works like that" Sapnap seemed to be genuinely interested on the topic and was trying to understand how Y/N was seeing things.
"There are different types of colour-blindness, in my case I can't see any colours at all, it's just black, white and grey for me."
"So you've never seen any colours before?"
"Well no I haven't."
"Wow that must suck..."
"Guys, you do realize we're still in a tournament, right?"
And with that they stopped their conversation and started to actually play the game. Y/N was barely able to finish his first build, but he got some help from his teammates.
In the end they still placed last for build mart and were 5th place by the tournaments end. Even though they didn't win Y/N had a fun time playing together with his newfound friends.
Sapnap and Y/N started to get closer over time and often did Streams together. Sapnap eventually introduced him to Dream and George.
Now Y/N started a new Stream
"Hello Chat, how are you doing today? I'm doing pretty good!" said Y/N enthusiastically into his Mic. He was pretty hyped for this Stream.
"Sapnap is also here btw" he added
"Hi Y/N's chat"
"So I don't actually know how this stream is gonna go today guys because Sapnap here sent me a package and told me not to look inside and to open it on stream. He also insisted that I have to Stream with my facecam on... well, let's see what his surprise is huh? I'm sure you are just as curious as me chat."
And with that Y/N started to unpackage the thing Sapnap has got him. He had absolutely nothing in mind what it could be. Sapnap hadn't said anything about getting him something and now he had to open this mystery box on stream.
When he was finished and took the thing out of the box, he looked directly into the camera "Sapnap is this what I think it is?" then Y/N showed a simple pair of glasses into the camera
"Just try them on"
Y/N didn't need to be told twice and put the glasses on. He blinked a few times and then his mouth opened in awe.
"Wow..."
For the first time in his life Y/N was able to perceive the beautiful colours of this world.
Sapnap's heart started to flutter when he saw the others stunned expression. He made a mental note to thank dream later on for giving him the idea to gift Y/N the glasses.
They were expensive as fuck but seeing Y/N so happy and exited was all worth it.
"Do you like it" asked Sapnap with a dorky grin on his face.
"I love it Sapnap thank you so much!! Omg wait let me see your face! I wanna know how you look like now."
"Okay wait a second."
Sapnap appeared on his screen.
Y/ns viewers weren't able to see him but he didn't really care about that.
"You're so beautiful..." whispered Y/N but his mic still caught it and an immense blush started to spread on Sapnap's face.
"And now you're just red." Stated Y/N
"Oh my god just shut up dude" snapped Sapnap back at him, clearly embarrassed.
"Oh don't worry you look so fucking adorable right now." That made him blush even harder
"I think red might be my favourite colour now."
