"What do you mean you can't make it?" Karl whisper shouted into his phone
"Sorry dude but I have this important meeting I forgot but at least you're with Y/N."
"Nononono you don't understand that is the problem! You can't just leave me alone with him! I'm not prepared for this!"
"Calm down Karl you're gonna be fine. Have fun!"
"Wait- "but the other had already hung up.
Now Karl was sitting alone in a small café, well not really alone, Y/N just went to go get their orders when Karl's friend called and said he can't make it today. The 3 of them were supposed to go to a concert together.
Karl didn't have anything against Y/N, in fact, it was more of the opposite: Karl liked Y/N a tad bit to much. At first, he didn't want to accept that he has a crush on his friend and tried to just ignore the butterflies that were spreading in is stomach whenever he heard the others voice or the warm feeling when they hugged each other but over time he came to realize that these feeling were there and wouldn't just go away.
Now that he was aware of his crush, he got awfully nervous around Y/N. He sometimes would start stuttering and begin blushing way to often for his liking.
"Everything alright?" Y/N asked taking his seat across from Karl.
"Oh, uhm yeah... well no not really, F/N just called and said he couldn't make it, he had to go to an important meeting or something like that..."
"Really? What a shame... I hope he isn't to sad about it."
"Oh don't worry he didn't sound sad at all."
When the band started playing the crowd was going crazy. Karl was being pushed around and overall didn't have a good time. Y/N seemed to notice that.
"Hey, wanna do something risky?"
"What do you mean-"but Y/N already grabbed his hand and pulled him through the crowd of people to the side areas.
"Just act like you belong here." Said Y/N with a wink at him. Karl's face started to head up and he quickly looked away, trying to hide his blush.
They walked until they got into a not so crowded area with some security guards in front of an entrance. Y/n walked confidently up to them and Karl tried his best to look calm but in reality, he was freaking out. Is Y/N seriously trying to get them into the backstage area right now?!
"Hey, we're back, can we go back in?" the security guard looked them up and down.
"I need to see your cards first before I let you back in there."
"We kinda forgot to take them with us and left them in there..." Y/N said sheepishly while scratching his neck. "That is the worst excuse I've ever heard..." thought Karl to himself, already coming to terms with probably getting kicked out now
"Just get in then."
"What"
Y/n walked in and motioned for Karl to follow him.
"I can't believe that worked."
"Never doubt my skills again." Said Y/N with a huge smile on his face. The band started playing the next song and Y/Ns eyes lit up.
"That's my favourite!!"
Karl found the excitement of the other boy absolutely adorable. Y/N started singing along and Karl joined in with a fond smile on his face. They were still holding hands and neither of them seemed like to want to let go anytime soon.
