The Chained "Wife"

The next morning I wake up and find a note on the side table next to the bed, I open it up and start to read it.

Dear lovely Wife,

We have went into town. Don't worry I didn't forget to pick you up a book. We will be back before lunch. Your to stay inside the bedroom as I didn't unhook your chain. Breakfast is on the side dresser please eat it all and take the morning off.

Love always your Husband.

I get up and sure enough my ankles still chained so I move around the room walking to the dresser and grab the tray of food.

Its a egg omelet. I hurry and eat it and done the glass of milk before cleaning up in the bedroom. I clean the dresser, fold our clothes and put them where they go then head to the bed.

5 minutes later the rooms spotless and the beds made.

Coltons POV

We head into town and I see nothing but flyers of my beautiful wife. People just do not understand our traditions. It's so sad but this is how our family is. We keep our family well and safe.

First I make us stop at the book store and find a few old books that come out to a dollar. Not bad 4 books for a dollar. This should make my wife extra happy she was only wanting one book but I got her 4.

I feel like the best husband as I walk back to the truck and place them on the seat next to Cain.

"Really? Books? You was serious when you said you would get her a book?" he laughs loudly.

"Books make her happy. She loves to read so if me giving her books sometimes makes my wife happy to he with me then that is what I will do" I snarl back at him

Ungrateful bastard. It's not my fault his wife is useless. Mines perfect and I love her ill do anything I can to make her happy and she is. She is very happy with me

We stop at the feed store to get some more extra feed for our animals before we stop of a clothing store. Abby doesn't have much dresses already and I remember messing up a few of them during her lessons so I run in again leaving my Father and brother in the car while I pick up a few dresses for Abby.

She will be so happy I can hardly wait. She will tell me im the best husband.

I throw the dresses over the books and ignore my brothers eye roll.

Several minutes later we stop at the grocery store we mainly make our own but it doesn't hurt to have a few snacks here and there around the house.

Suddenly we hear some one yelling at us and I look back to see Katie..  Abbys friend running up to us.

"Have yall seen my friend? Her names Abby?" She rushes out as she reaches us

"No sorry darling we have not" Says Cain smoothly

"Okay well thank you" She rushes off shoving that picture of my wife in everyone's face.

"Colton. You picked a girl that lives in the same town? Boy how stupid can you be?!" My father asks me calmly

"It wasn't supposed to happened father... I was in town on day and I was running errands and I saw her walking down the street the wind was blowing in her hair she was wearing this beautiful sun dress and my heart skipped a beat. I knew she was my one. I couldn't help it" I explain to him

"What will we do with this girl?" My father askes

I want to leave her here. I don't want to bring her back. Abby will never forgive me.

"I want her" Cain tells us.

"WHAT" Father and I say at the same time.

"Your already married" I spit at him " Have you no shame? Remember the vows you took?!"

I'm in shock that he would even suggest this.

"What? I been with Rebecca for a year. She has yet to get pregnant. She doesn't cook good. She doesn't clean. She doesn't do anything and im sick of it. I want a real fucking wife." he says angry

"Abby is still learning you can't show Katie to her  she will never forgive me and that will undo all of her training" I snarl at him

I worked so hard for Abby, I will not let all her progress go away because of him.

"What about Rebecca?" My father askes him

"I can.. Remove her from the problem"

"What?!!!!" I look at him in complete shock. Yes I know we train our wife's hard but we don't kill them.

"Cain I am disappointed with you. You chose your wife. You wanted her. You loved her. Its your responsibility to train her properly thats not her fault. She wasn't raised the right way like you boys were. The women need to learn. We teach, they learn. How they behave is what shows how good of a job we do with them. Now let's go home.

We follow him back to the truck and head home. I can't wait to see Abby and show her what all I picked for her.
