This is just a random idea I had come up with, though I hope you enjoy! I might make more parts of this or maybe Orion will continue it, it will depend on motivation and if you guys reading would like us to continue! Also I wasn't sure how to put 5up's name; Five, Fiveup, 5up- so for the sake of the story, you'll see how I did this. I might change it for future oneshots, but I think the version I chose fits the overall mood I wanted with this. Oh and there's not really 5undy in this part, there was supposed to be, but if I continue it then there will be- uh- And oh gosh, this is a long author's note. Sorry!

~~~~~
It was cold.
That was the best way he could describe it.
Cold.
The world had been full of life, the city bright and alive. So, very alive.
He couldn't remember much of what happened. He knew that someone named... uh...- Fun? Fundip? No, that's not a name. Funny? -had wanted to meet up with him, but he wasn't sure why.  He shook his head. It was something along those lines, though his thoughts were still unclear. His head was spinning and he wasn't even sure if he could stand up.
Opening his eyes for the first time in what felt like weeks, he froze. In front of him a few feet away was a large brick wall, the colors faded and covered with graffiti. Broken glass littered the ground around him as a single, flickering streetlamp provided the only light, other than the moon and the stars. Rain pooled around him, soaking the ground.
He frowned, mumbling to himself, "What... the hell? What even happened?"
He knew he was meeting with a friend, and he had left his house. He had walked down the street, stopped at an intersection to cross, and then the rest was just noises. Car horns, screaming, a crash. Sirens. His name.
Wait, his name?
What was his name?
Shakily, he pulled himself to his feet. Five. My name was Five. Yeah, that sounds right. He nodded slightly, using the wall to support himself as he walked out of the alleyway. Rain soaked his shoes as his footsteps echoed around the empty streets.
Empty streets.
No, that can't be right. Earlier there were cars and people, animals and those annoying gnats that always fly around. Lights were on in every building, and it was never quiet in the city, even during snowstorms and tornadoes and earthquakes!
Five, as he had decided to call himself, ignored the feeling of dread that had rooted itself into the back of his mind as he pushed off the wall, stumbling into the street. His hands tightened at his sides, a faint feeling of cloth brushing against his hands startling him. He held his hands in front of his face, looking around; Nothing. Of course, it just had to be his pink scarf, right? Maybe his green sweater?
He shook his head, sending one last glance behind himself, then started to make his way through the streets. Five had absolutely no clue where he was going, but eventually he'd have to end up somewhere he recognized, right?
A few minutes later, following through with his flawed logic, he stopped outside an apartment complex. Specifically, one that he lived in. He blinked up at the building. It looked empty, almost abandoned. Hesitantly, he opened the door, walking through the lobby.
Just like that, the once desolate and dead world was again full of life. He looked over his shoulder, back through the glass door, and it was no longer raining. It was no longer night. Instead, the welcoming light of the afternoon sun brightened the sky. A few people hung out in the apartment lobby, one of the janitors looking up at the door, their eyebrows drawn tightly together.
Five looked back at the door, then back at the janitor. I had only walked in, he thought to himself. Why is that so concerning?
He sighed, walking to the elevator and pressing the button. After a moment of waiting, the doors opened, and he stepped on. About two minutes later, and he was at his apartment door, unlocking the door and stepping inside.
He shut the door softly, turning around. His eyes widened as he saw one of his best friends, one he basically considers a sister; Hafu. She turned to face the door, her dark brown eyes wide as she slowly lowered her phone. Five could hear the muffled voice on the other line of her phone, though the words were mostly unintelligible.
"What the hell?" Hafu said, setting her phone down as she stood up.
Five glanced to the door, then back at Hafu. "Hafu? Is something wrong?"
She frowned, picking up her phone. "Sorry, Sykkuno. The door just- it just unlocked and opened."
"Oh- weird- ...lock- house?"
Hafu nodded. "Yeah, I'm at 5up's apartment, I wanted to at least keep his plants healthy until he gets back. And yes, i'm sure the door was locked."
"Oh. Thanks?" Five said, furrowing his eyebrows. "Uh, Hafu?"
She didn't respond, instead kept talking to who Five assumed to be Sykkuno. It was weird, almost as if he was a ghost. And as if his day couldn't get any weirder, suddenly there was a weird pressure over his nose and mouth. Instinctively, his hand lightly touched his face, but there was nothing there.
After a moment, he sighed, going over and sitting next to Hafu on his couch. She didn't look up, she didn't notice he was there. So instead he stared at the floor, unsure of what to even say. What had happened to him?
Woah, this was longer than I expected-
I actually kinda like the plot of this and I have an idea on where to take this. If people liked this, I might make a part two, or even make this into an entire story if people would want that! Anyways, hope you enjoyed! ^^ 💖
