Have you heard the legend of The Keepers? I didn't think you would've. As the old stories would have it, there is much more to this world than most people will ever realize. There are powers beyond our comprehension... forces beyond our understanding... and places well beyond what we could ever see in our dreams... or nightmares.

To understand what I'm about to tell you, everything you think you know about this world needs to be forgotten. Beneath the guise of the 'normal life' that takes place in Blutora, there are dark and ancient secrets. Legend says that Blutora was created from the ashes of a previous time, similar to ours, but lacking existence in our time. This is the first name you need to know, 'Xelmal', the ancient Dukaze referred to this entity as 'The Keeper of Time' and most believed that Xelmal was responsible for the creation of Blutora. Xelmal isn't known to the world, as he does not reside here. Think bigger. A mysterious place, known as Clocksquire, where there is no solid land, only islands floating in space around what's known as the 'Tree of Time.' Those names... Xelmal... Clocksquire... arguably the most important, but far from the only ones. This deity doesn't exist as the only of it's kind, no, and Clocksquire isn't the only place hidden from the world.

Broka, The mistress of fear. Harsh red skies cover an endless forest where only the most vile nightmarish creatures dwell for eternity. They call it 'Asmungeld'

Agdrakon, The harbinger of chaos. Volcanoes... earthquakes... and endless war raged between souls damned to the lands of Zedual.

Rirza, queen of the Sun and Moon. The closest to what we call home... Deaunitka, the brightly lit days and dimly lit nights cover a land sisterly to ours... where the nights are a thousand times harsher and the days a thousand times greater.

Zifio, Lord of creativity. Lupeosz, A place formed by the minds of the souls that inhabit it. The good minds... and the evil.

Izan, guardian of hope. An endless sunrise illuminates lands of ever regeneration and life, known as Pryecta.

Uzra, Agent of peace. Heavenly in the literal sense, Hafeol exists among clouds and quartz temples.

Anathema, Liege of Love. Lush and flourishing forests filled with life and souls fortunate enough to find themselves dwelling within, known as Esmir.

Stuzocious, prince of anger. Iragoul, or hell as some might mistake it for. A wasteland of fire, souls trapped within hunt each other down against their will, only to repeat this cycle after death for eternity.

These places... they don't exist in this world. Picture our existence as a house with no windows or doors, everything within the house makes up our world, what we know, and understand. Everything outside of the house does not exist... not to us who are within the house. Now picture a house neighboring our house. It does not exist to us, we cannot see it. However they both exist simultaneously, and can be travelled to and from. The house we exist in is just one singular room, we know it as Blutora. Our house is young, innocent, and ignorant. The house next door, timeless. Each of the nine deities have a room of their own in this house. But what about the rest of the house?

Do you remember when I asked you about The Keepers? The Keepers roam the rest of the house, keeping intruders out and hunting down any who dare leave. Nobody who has ever seen one of The Keepers has survived, and as such, not much is known about them. Speaking of knowledge...You're probably wondering how I know all of this...These are legends, stories passed down from generations of old. Stories about the house next door to ours.

These... are the Tales of Annocia.
