This is a grand tale of Lethio, of a princess in the kingdom among the clouds named Syrie, and a  dragon named Sieliah.

The elves of Lethio and dragons of the surrounding regions waged constant war through the A-era. Always in the midst of conflict, during this time it was difficult for the Kingdom to grow and prosper for the Dukaze. Parallel to their struggles, it was difficult for the dragons to survive considering the kingdom that had taken root in their home mountain range. If the winged beasts weren't careful their numbers could fall off drastically, threatening permanent relocation, or worse.

During the late A-Era, Princess Syrie of Lethio was a strong advocate for peace between the Dukaze and the dragons, albeit against the beliefs of her father, King Yveli. Syrie, being the extremely outspoken and brave character she had grown to be, never conceded to bending to the beliefs of her father, or backing down from her arguments to cease conflict. She knew that the conflict had begun when the Dukaze first settled in the Izental Mountains which had long been prior home to the dragons of the northeast. She also knew that the dragons could be reasoned with, but it was never attempted, as the Dukaze always engaged in a fight whenever a dragon was spotted.

Eventually, when Syrie decided enough was enough, she began making discreet trips into the deep reaches of the mountains, far from her home, into the midst of the dragons home. Unbeknownst to any citizens of the kingdom, and entirely aware of the danger, Syrie had decided it was time to find a way to settle things before they go too far for either side, even if it meant her own demise.

It is important to note that the lifespan of a dragon is much longer than that of an Elf, Human, Ongrah, Macabre, or Wurika. The dragons of Blutora would often live to see years close to half a millennia. As a result of this lifespan, the course of reproducing and cycle of life in general was much slower for the dragons. This meant that as the wars and conflict waged over time between the Dukaze and the dragons, eventually the dragons of the northeast would all be eliminated. The elves did not have this concern, for as the wars raged for hundreds of years, the lifespan and shorter cycle of life for the Dukaze allowed for their population to grow despite the conflict and lost numbers.

After a number of trips into the dragon patrolled regions of the Izental Mountains, Syrie had befriended a number of the winged creatures who had been seeking a similar goal; peace between the two populations of the mountains. Months of visits, planning, and strategizing had finally paid off they hoped, when the plan was put forth to bestow an Egg from the dragons into Syrie's possession. The idea was for her to raise the dragon once it had hatched and show the others of Lethio that the dragons aren't simply ruthless killing machines, and that the option for co existence and peace was indeed possible.

Syrie would soon after find a location not too far from the kingdom that was hidden away enough that nobody would ever see, or hear anything from. It was in this miniature cove towards the peak of one of the mountaintops that Syrie would raise the newborn dragon, whom she had named Sieliah. As the months and years went by, and the dragon grew in size, Syrie really began to learn a lot about the winged creatures and that they weren't all too different from the elves, at least in mind and spirit. Sieliah was a unique dragon in that her scales were that of a light blue that when struck just right in the light would give the effect of twinkling snow.

At first Syrie would do her best to bring the newborn Sieliah food, however fortunately for the Princess, once dragons reached a couple of months in age they could begin fending for themselves. Once Sieliah reached about a year in age she developed the ability to fly. Over the rest of the next six years, Syrie and Sieliah had become the closest of friends, and formed bonds that Syrie herself didn't believe possible at first between the elves and dragons.
