The sun slowly rises over a sea of trees, a dense pine forest kissed by the chilly morning air showing a thin build up of frost. The sound of distant streams running across rocks and a feint breeze picking up and calming back down fills the surroundings. The occasional Fox scurries through the grass leaving a flash of orange as it chases after a frightened chipmunk. It's nature in it's rawest form, it's a new dawn over the untouched wilderness dominated by the wildlife within. It's the lands of Melaverhi, and it's beautiful.

-Anonymous, B-Era.

Throughout history in Blutora, wildlife of all shapes and sizes have thrived and called different areas home. From the seemingly invincible Viik within the northern tundra, to the vicious pack predator Reyk dwelling within the Withering Sea to the far south. While every square meter of land in Blutora is home to life of some sort, no place has as much wildlife as the lands of Melaverhi. That was the case at least, until control of the lands was taken by the Yimaro elves of the east. Through both the A and B Era's, northwestern Blutora was under the control of the Macabre and the Northlands which consisted of all of modern day Kyn Alora and Melaverhi as well as northern Struetan. The Macabre, having originated on the continent of Blutora similar to the Ongrah and Wurika, held a very sizable chunk of land under their influence prior to the arrival of elves and humans. Come the C-Era though, and everything changed when the Yimaro attacked.

Heading into the C-Era the Yimaro elves held control over all of modern day Izheka, and southern Struetan. Up to this point in time the elves of foreign origin maintained a neutral and relatively peaceful coexistence with the Macabre of the Northlands. Under the leadership of their newly appointed Fendaia, the elves of eastern Blutora found themselves on the brink of another war. Izheka and it's elven population were still reeling and rebuilding from a bloody conflict previously with the Arberi humans of the south, the very conflict that saw Izheka expand south of the Izental mountains and towards central Blutora. In the aftermath of the conflict, despite coming out of the ordeal with the better end, the Yimaro were struggling and their settlements were hanging on by mere threads. They needed to be pulled out of the mud and steered back into prosperity and success. The people were desperate, and that desperation was taken advantage of by a Yimaro woman by the name of Ryntelia Sarborn.

Ryntelia Sarborn appeared onto the scene at first as a protester, standing for change among the Yimaro leadership. She quickly gained supporters and followers all across Izheka for her radical beliefs and unwavering confidence. Before long she was much more than just a protester, she was a rebel, the leader of an internal uprising amongst the citizens. In two short months Ryntelia Sarborn and the ever increasing group of disgruntled and desperate citizens managed to overthrow King Ecklestone and his court. In place of the old leadership and with the favor of a vast majority of the Yimaro, the rebel leader was named the first Fendaia of Izheka and the elven people.

Fendaia Sarborn gained traction and support from the people with extremely radical ideas and proposals for how things needed to change. She held a strong resentment for King Ecklestone, his court, and the old order. She brought forth promises of guaranteed success and prosperity through cunning manipulation of the people using her strong charisma and emboldened confidence. Proposals of seemingly genius strategy for material and asset gains as well as social reform and higher wages for the lands of Izheka were put forth. Proposals that most could only understand on the surface, an understanding that left most citizens satisfied and supportive. The dark truths to these plans of action were buried beneath layers of fancy wording, political gibberish and reassuring confidence. The Fendaia had the interests of her people in mind, but the lengths in which she would take would prove much too extreme.

Within weeks of her ascension to the most powerful person in Izheka, Fendaia Sarborn in the year C-2 declared war on the Macabre of the Northlands. She rallied the support of the people with angering propaganda and passionate speeches. She spoke of fictional wrongdoings against the Yimaro people in past times on behalf of the Macabre. The unsuspecting neighbors to the north were painted as the sole blame for the Yimaro struggles due to their lack of assistance in the elven conflicts against the humans. She told of visions bestowed upon her in dreams by Rirza, a deity widely followed by the Yimaro population. These visions communicated a destiny in the uprising of the elven powers, a destiny in lands, wealth, and unrelenting conquest. The rise of the Yimaro that would balance out the world after such difficult times had previously fallen on them. The Fendaia used her people's faith and desperation to spin an intricate web of lies and motivating manipulations. The people were clueless to the reality of the situation, and they fiercely supported her and all plans enacted.
