Rena Rouge is back, or not (part 2)

Lila's POV

She just revealed me her identity. I always knew that she was stupid and will fail as a reporter. But I didn't know she was THAT stupid. I told her that I will talk to Ladybug and tell her the answer. For the first time I didn't exactly lie, I will be contacting a miraculous holder, it's just that I won't be speaking to a hero.

I walked home and texted Hawkmoth. I wrote. "I know something you might wanna know. Alya, the girl from the Ladyblog, is actually Rena Rouge. I can get her akumatized. Don't mess this up." He replied thanking me about this information. The last time he knew an identity of a hero was Queen Bee, she then never got her miraculous again. I gave him an opportunity and he better not mess this up.

After some time passed I left to some ice cream shop to meet up with my Alya. When I got there I saw her waiting, I did my best to look nice and walked up to her. "Hey Als. How are you feeling." She smiled and said. "Great, let's go buy some ice cream." I did my best to look upset. "I'm so so sorry, I forgot to take money." She believed and told me. "It's okay, I can buy you some as well."

After buying the ice cream she asked me what I wanted to hear. "So, what did Ladybug say?" I did my absolute best at looking guilty and told her. "I don't like lying to you, but never before have I wanted to lie so much. Do you really want to hear?" This action made her confused, but she reassured me and I continued. "I talked to Ladybug and she said, that you can no longer be Rena Rouge, because you're pathetic, stupid and annoying, she also said that you became Rena Rouge by mistake and were never meant to be a hero, she said that your blog is the worst, and that you don't deserve a miraculous, she then said that you should have been forgotten long tim ago." I started crying by the end of it all to seem more realistic. Oh my god it worked, she believed me.

I can see she's holding back tears, she excused herself and said that she has to go, now I have to wait until Hawkmoth takes action.

Mariette's POV

I heard Alya tell Lila her identity and ask her to talk to Ladybug. Ever since I have thiis feeling like something is going to go very wrong, very soon. In case of anything I recorded it, you can never know when this might come in handy.

I was working on a new song, but then I heard my phone start beeping. I checked it and there was a new akuma. It calls herself Rena Flames. I knew that Lila did something to get Alya akumatized. But this also means, that Hawkmoth knows her identity. It didn't change much, since I wasn't going to give her the miraculous again, meaning unlike with Queen Bee. Hawkmoth can't take much advantage from it. This actually means that Lie-la is working for Hawkmoth. I have proof but nobody will listen to Marinette. You know who they will listen to? Ladybug.

I warned my team and we transformed, I used the mouse miraculous, one of the copies is wearing the Ladybug earrings, the other one is using the ring. I had this feeling that they both will be needed. I checked some video from the cameras all around the Paris. Yes I can do that, it's a feature in my akuma app, it didn't even take a lot of hacking. From what I saw she looks exactly like Rena Rouge, but when she uses her flute she doesn't say "mirage". She says "Fireball" then the light shows up, but this one doesn't create an illusion, this creates very much real fire.

(When they defeated Rena Flames, because I am too lazy to write an akuma battle right now.)

"Miraculous Ladybug!" Everything went back to normal, but I still remember every one who got burned alive, only to be brought back to life. "What happened?" She asked. "You were akumatized." She looked like some realization struck her. "Why are you faking, we both know that you think I'm pathetic." Here is the thing I did think she is pathetic, but there is quite the difference. It's Marinette who finds this girl truly stupid, but not Ladybug, Ladybug is a different person right now. "What, why would I think that?" Obviously because you call yourself a reporter but can't even check simple facts. But Ladybug is nit allowed to think like this, I have to keep an identity secret.

"Lila said she talked to you and you said that." She looked deeply hurt, if this wasn't Lila's fault I would start feeling bad, maybe. "Lila who?" I asked wanting to see what she says. " Lila Rossi your best friend." Poor Alya she believes Lila said the truth. "Oh, Lila Rossi, you posted about her on the blog." She nodded. "I haven't talked to her since she was last akumatized. Alya here is the thing she lied. She is not my best friend, we hate eachother. She got akumatozed because I called her out for lying, once defeated she made it clear she hates me." Alya looked shocked. I continued to explain the best way I can. "I know what you want to know, I'll answer that. I no longer give you the miraculous because, you betrayed my friend, I couldn't afford you betraying this team in a battle. And know you revealed your identity, and it got to Hawkmoth."

I was ready to go, but got stopped. "Wait! Can you please tell me what you think about the ladyblog? Honestly." I sighed and told her the truth. "I used to think the blog was great, but not anymore. It's littered with lies everywhere. For starters, me and Bumblebee are best friends. And Cobra is dating Dragon Fighter." I said putting an emphasis on 'is'.

I turned around and left with my team, we didn't have much time before detransforming. "Bug out!" 

We got to the hotel, I explained them my theory about how Lila is workinf for Hawkmoth. It actually makes a lot of sense. We gathethered proof, enough to have a conclusion but not enough to arrest her. If I could get to her phone, I could get an answer. The only problem is that she guards it with her life.

We were still waiting for an answer from the contest. It would be useful to go to Gotham, and ask batman for help. Ok, more like break into the batcave and borrow a few things. I don't need much of their help, it's just that the batfamily has a lot of technologies that will help me. And since batman is my father I'd lije to think he won't really mind. It's not like I will break anything.
