Miss bustier's POV

Some of the students were already in the class. However I was waiting until Marinette comes. I really need to talk to her. Not many kids were in the class. There were only Alix, Max, Kim and Kagami. This is good because I will be able to have a somewhat descent conversation with Marinette.

I really need to apologise to her. I've been putting a lot of weight on her shoulders. I recently noticed that she seems to not be able to get enough sleep. She always looks tired, but never falls asleep in classes. I don't know exactly how much sleep she's been getting, but obviously not enough. I can't let her keep going like this. When I first asked her to be the class example, it seemed like a great idea. Plus that time Marinette herself agreed to this. Now it's different, she no longer is doing this willingly, I don't want to make her do this. Mr. Damocles believes Lila and said that we must make Marinette the example of the class, and it might teach her to redeem herself. And I can't help her out, because then I would be fired for supporting bullying. I can atleast give her emotional support. With Hawkmoth around it is quite important.

Just then Luka, Chloe and Marinette walked in. "Marinette, can I talk to you for a moment?" She then came to me and asked. "Is there something wrong again?" I sighed "Marinette, I'm sorry." She looked pretty confused. "I've been pushing you to be the perfect example for the class, and that was very wrong of me, I deeply regret that. You don't have to set an example for everyone else if you don't want to. I can try to help you the best I can, but I'm afraid it's not much or I could get fired." She looked me in the eyes and was silent for a while. "Thank you." She finally said something. "You can now go to your friends now" I said and she left.

Marinette's POV

I looked her in the eyes and everything I saw told me, that she really does regret it and never ment for this to go so far. "Thank you." I quietly said. She maybe won't be able to deal with the bullying, but while Hawkmoth's still roaming emotional support is very needed and apreciated. "You can go to your friends now." She said and I left.

Today already is better than expected. That is a good sign. "Mari-hime, what did she say?" 'Gami asked and she was pretty concerned. "She said that I no longer have to be the example of the class." I exclaimed and their faces brightened at it as well.

"In that case this might turn out to be a good day. It would be even better if Lila didn't even show up at school." Chloe said, and I'm starting to think she is cursed, because just then Lie-la entered the classroom. She had that fake smile, behind it she was smirking evily. So much for a good day. Anybody can tell that Lila has something on her mind.

I was still drinking my coffee, and even if I really didn't want to, I listened to the conversation my classmates were having. "Lila you look so happy, I'm glad. But what happened so good that your in such a good mood." Rose asked.

And here we go I saw Lila smirk right before she started telling her fairytales. "Well, it's nice of you to ask. Yes something amazing happened." The girl who could have won a prize for being the world's worst reporter seemed interested "Well, what are you waiting for, gurl? Tell us." After that there was a chorus of yeah and tell us.

Liar then said the dumbest thing ever and yet everyone bought it. "I really don't like to brag, but if you insist. My damikins yesterday came on a surprise visit, we had so much fun together. I'm sorry I didn't invite you guys, but I really missed him and we had limited time." She made a fake guilty expression in the end. "It's okay Lila we completely understand." Mylene tried to cheer her up.

"Ugh that is ridiculous utterly ridiculous! Not only was it completely made up, but you also stole my nickname idea." Lila started to pretend to be hurt, wich was poorly done, but no one besides me noticed it. Meanwhile Chloe continued. "Actually, you know what? You can use that nickname. After all it has been proven that it gives bad luck."
