Y/n's POV:

The day had finally come. Today, the festival was today. I was instructed to stay by Schlatt at all times during the festival.

Tubbo and I were walking around Manberg and checking to see if anything was out of place.

“I'm excited! Aren't you?” He asked me.

“Yeah, I'm excited! You didn't hear this from me, but Schlatt has done good for this country so far. This festival is like the cherry on top.” I explain with a smile.

Tubbo nodded with a hum and excused himself to go get his speech ready. I wanted to go see Niki or Eret, but both people were busy.

Wilbur had been very distant and secretive lately. Every time he looked at me, his eyes filled with sadness and he looked insane.

Tommy seemed irritated and confused and didn't really seem as talkative as he usually is. He seemed a bit like Techno.

And Techno, he was his regular self. He showed a little bit more emotion towards me than anyone else. Hardly ever see him now.

I went looking for Schlatt since I had nothing else to do and walked inside the white house. I saw Quackity but no Schlatt.

“Hey Big Q?” I called. He looked in my direction and gave me a wave.

“You need something?” He asked me with a smile.

“Have you seen Schlatt? I think I should go play bodyguard now.” I explained with a solemn expression.

He seemed to have flinch at the mention  of his name and reluctantly nodded his head. “He was by the boxing ring last time I saw him.”

I nodded and hesitantly placed my hand on his shoulder. He only looked at me and frowned.

“Thank you. When I come back, please tell me what's wrong.” I say with a small smile.

He nodded in response and I walked away. Making my way to the boxing ring was a bit hard but I found it. Occasionally, I thought I saw Tommy and Wilbur at the top of a few buildings.

In the distance I could see Schlatt and Tubbo. I took my position next to Schlatt and remained silent in an attempt to scare him.

“Yeah, so you're gonna be doing the speech on top of that podium. We'll make it a bit smaller for you as well.” Schlatt told Tubbo.

“Yeah that's great! Oh- hi Y/n.” He greeted me with a wave.

“Hey Tubs.”

“WHAT THE FUCK?!” Schlatt let out a shriek and jumped away from me.

Tubbo and I started laughing at his startled expression and fell to the floor. Schlatt seemed to have calmed down and just stared at us with a sarcastic smile.

“Oh ha ha. Very funny you two, I'm on the floor laughing.” He told us with a smirk. Tubbo and I caught our breath and stood up straight.

“Why thank you, we're funnier as a trio though.” I say with a smile.
