You stood in the middle of the set that was built later that day, fixing some of your hair and parts of your costumes.
You were quietly whispering the lines you had memorized so you wouldn't forget them, closing your eyes at times to think about a word you forgot here and there.
"Hello, I'm Benedict." A British man said behind you, startling you. You turned around and smiled, shaking his hand. "Hello, so nice to meet you. Big fan." You said politely.
He chuckled, pulling his hand away. "Can I just say how well that outfit is on you?" You said, pointing at his Doctor Strange clothes.
He looked down at the clothes and smiled widely, glancing back at you. "Thank you. I've got to say that this outfit is kind of comfortable." He replied.
"Okay, everyone! Ready yourselves up!" Anthony yelled while speaking to Tom. You glanced at Tom who was staring at Benedict and you with slight jealousy.
"So, are you feeling better?" Benedict asked, making you snap your eyes back to him. You were confused at first by his question but then it hit you.
"Oh, yes. I am way better. Thank you for worrying." You replied, smiling warmly at him. "I'm so sorry I worried all of you like that. It wasn't my intention." You said guiltily.
"Oh, please. Don't you dare apologize. It's not your fault for having an anxiety attack. It happens in the most unexpected moments." He said, giving your shoulder a father-like squeeze.
It definitely made you feel comforted. It was amazing how a simple touch or gesture can make you feel all sorts of things.
"Loki~" Benedict said when Tom made his way to you two. "I see you've met Y/n. She is an angel, isn't she?" Tom said, smiling at you.
He visibly made you blush, causing you to slap his arm. "She is sweet, of course. I am very pleased to properly having met you." Benedict said after.
"Thank you. That's nice of you." You replied. "It's sad the whole attack thingy happened on the first day. I disn't mean that to be my first impression on you guys." You said, looking down.
"What did I say about apologizing for something you're not at fault?" Benedict said strictly. Tom pressed his hand on your lower back, causing electricity to shoot up your spine.
"I will go talk to Anthony real quick. I'll be back so we can start shooting the scene later." Benedict said really quickly after Anthony walked past you, waving at you.
You waved back when Benedict left, sighing softly. You felt Tom pull his hand away, tuening to him. "Want a coffee?" You asked, smiling up at him.
"Sure, love. Sounds great." He said, smiling down at you. He followed after you when you headed to the buffet table with all the food.
You grabbed two already made coffees and handed him on of the paper cups. "So, tell me. Do you have a girlfriend?" You asked softly.
"I was recently dating Zawe Ashton. But we both ended the relationship after a small talk. We both saw it was not going anywhere." Tom explained, staring in the cup.
"She was one of the first people I genuinely loved." He said quietly enough for you to hear. You nodded, sipping your coffee.
"And you are already off to kissing other women and throwing yourself at them." You said, the sentence coming out way more rude than what you wanted it to sound.
"It's been more than a year since that. It's nothing wrong to move on and look for someone else." Tom replied. "Is that how you look for 'someone else'?" You asked.
"Where are you getting with this?" Tom asked after noticing your weird behavior. You looked around to see nobody was looking so you went closer, your face inches away.
You stared deeply into his eyes, eyebrows furrowing. "I'm trying to see if you're genuinely feeling something because if I need to remind you, I have already been cheated on, Tom." You said through gritted teeth.
"I don't want to risk being cheating on again. I know you won't because I've seen you on interviews and with other women and you're a complete angel to them and-" He cut you off by moving closer, lips almost touching.
"You're making me want to kiss you so you can stop rambling on about how you obviously like me back but are pushing me away." He whispered in a deep tone to you.
You gulped nervously, taking a step back before anyone would see you. You sipped your coffee and cleared your throat, looking around shyly while your face was burning.
You could feel his eyes burning into you, making your face heat up even more if possible. "We are obviously attracted to each other. And I don't care if you are 20 years or more younger than me." He whispered after leaning closer to you, walking away afterward.
You stared at his back as he walked away, biting the edge of the paper cup in thought. Maybe he was right, maybe you were attracted to each other.
But who wouldn't, he was Tom Hiddleston after all.
