"And then, I went to do the handwork to cast the spell but one of the co-stars tripped over the rug there was on the ground, nearly faceplanting the floor." You said while laughing uncontrollably.
Tom laughed as well as he took a bite out of his meal. You covered your mouth as your laugh turned into a small giggle. "I'm sorry... I've been talking all this time about me." You said.
"Oh, don't worry, love. I love listening to your stories." Tom said. A blush crept up your cheeks at his words, tucking some of your hair behind your ear.
"And? What happened to that co-star of yours?" He asked, sipping his wine as you did the same, his eyes staring deeply at you while grinning.
"Well, I managed to grab her before she hit the floor and we became friends. She was the only one who treated me well. Some other staff too but she was the only one from the cast that treated me like a normal person." You explained, finishing the story.
Tom's eyes would never leave your face as you spoke, your eyes everywhere but on him. You began playing with your food at the thought of the casts' way of treating you when you were shooting the short film.
"Are they the ones you told me in the make-up room before your... anxiety attack?" He asked softly. You looked up at him with sad eyes, giving him a small smile before nodding. "Yeah, them." You sighed.
Tom pulled his chair back to stand up, your mind already filling with the thought that he was going to leave you. You dropped your head when he stood up, not wanting to watch him leave in case he did.
Instead, he pulled his chair beside yours, sitting down. He took your fork and took a bite of your plate, glancing at you. "Whatever those idiots said to you, said it out of jealousy, because you are wonderful-" He fed you the bite. "gorgeous, and amazing." He whispered.
He tucked some of your hair behind your ear as you looked away shyly, your cheeks turning red. He placed the fork down on your plate, placing his hands on your cheeks and making you look at him. "Hey... I mean it." He whispered.
"You are... much more different. The effect you had on me the moment I saw you the first time, was like magic. Your personality and aura made me feel comfortable around you. And the moments we spent together, in and out of bed," He chuckled, making you giggle too.
"I can say they showed me that you-" "Check, sir." The waiter cut him off as he stood beside him. Tom sighed softly, smiling apologetically to you before turning to the waiter. "Here." He said, pulling out his credit card.
The waiter paid the check, bowing softly after returning the credit card, and left. "Want to leave?" He asked, taking your hand in his. You nodded your head softly, getting up with his help.
He put the chair back on its spot, leaving a tip on the table before walking you to the exit. When you stepped outside, a strong gush of wind hit you, along with big raindrops. It was raining like a shower outside, Tom instantly taking his jacket to cover you.
"No, I'll be fine. You'll catch a cold." You said. Tom nodded and quickly pulled you under the rain, running to the car. You held your skirt as you ran, looking at Tom who couldn't help a wide smile on his lips.
He let go of your hand as he kept running, your feet slowly coming to a stop. You let the rain fall on you, your eyes closing as you looked up into the sky, a smile on your lips. You jumped when a pair of arms wrapped around you, pulling you into a well-built chest.
You opened your eyes to see Tom, smiling widely down at you with a loving gaze. "You look gorgeous." He whispered. His hand tucked into your hair, at the nape, as he slowly leaned down to connect his lips with yours.
You closed your eyes right before they came in contact, your hands trailing slowly up to his nape and cheek. You tilted your head, deepening the kiss. It was full of love, passion, and care. His hand on your back pulled you closer, the kiss turning deeper and more passionate.
You felt the air in your lungs run out, your lungs asking for more air desperately, beginning to burn. He slowly pulled his lips away from your, eyes still closed while placing his forehead against yours.
"All those moments with you... made me realize..." He said while panting, his hand moving to your cheek. He opened his eyes, yours opening after to connect with his. "That I love you." He whispered.
Your eyes widened, a wide smile growing on his lips while he stared at you. "I love you, Y/n. I know I do." He said. You sighed in slight disbelief, smiling at him. "R-Really?" You asked in shock.
"Really." He chuckled, hugging you tightly when you did. You couldn't help the tears growing in your eyes, sobbing happily into his shoulder. "I love you too, Tom. I love you too." You whispered to him.
You felt him sigh in relief after you said that, releasing a soft chuckle. "I was so scared you'd say something else." He replied, making you giggle. After pulling away, he wiped your cheeks and face from the mix of rainwater and tears, smiling down at you.
"We should get back and take a shower or we'll get sick." He said, helping you to the car. He helped you inside with a wide smile, looking at Chris.
"Hello, lovebirds. Have fun?" He said, turning the screen of his phone off where he was scrolling through social media, glancing at Tom.
"Very romantic kiss out there. But your lady is soaking wet." He stated, making you blush while Tom simply chuckled, pulling you close into a tight hug.
"Let's go, brother. Or we'll get sick." He said, wiping his face before glancing down at you, Chris driving off towards the hotel.
