Chapter 10

Mom and Dad

The day had finally come and Ciel had his cast removed. He still had a road to healing and get back normal motion, so Sebastian was still helping with his camera. Ciel was very grateful for him. He was really in love. Ciel didn't know what love was only by watching his own parents, but to actually feel it for himself? That was amazing.

The only part that killed him was nobody but him and Sebastian knew how happy they were. That's all that should matter though, right? He wanted to let his parents know how happy he was, but he was definitely scared. He was sure it would be okay.

It's been 5 months already. It's hard for Ciel to keep something like that to himself for a whole 5 months.

Sebastian, my friend.

Just friends.

But they weren't just friends. They loved each other, as much as two teenagers could love each other. They spent a lot of time together, as much time as possible.

Valentine's day was nearing and Ciel had a couple of ideas. He had written a few doown. In the midst of his planning, Sebastian texted him. He asked if Ciel wanted to come over.

Obviously, yes he did. He got ready in a few minutes and headed over there. It was brisk out, and Ciel made sure to bundle up. Ciel had made sure to let his parent's know where he was headed as well. They told him to be careful and to be back before dark, both he promised to do.

Ciel stuffed his hands into his coat as he walked up the walkway to Sebastian's home. Before he was able to knock on the door, Sebastian stepped outside.

"Hey," Ciel smiled, shuffling his way up the stairs.

Sebastian stopped him right at the top of the steps. "Hey, why don't we take a walk?"

"Sebastian, it's the first week of February." Ciel let out a laugh, it was way too cold for a walk.

"Ah, you're right....let's go back to yours then!"

"Why did you have me come all the way over her to just go back home, Sebastian what's going on?"

Sebastian let out a sigh, "Sorry, it's just....I didn't expect my parent's to come home, I didn't want to spring that on you out of the blue."

Ciel let out a giggle, Sebastian seemed so nervous about it. "Why didn't you just tell me? I can meet them. You met mine already." Ciel smiled and took Sebastian's hands. "If you want me to of course."

Sebastian held his breath a moment and squeezed Ciel's hands. "Yeah, yeah of course." Sebastian smiled. He wasn't worried about what Ciel thought about them or what they thought of Ciel. He really didn't know why he was nervous.

He led Ciel inside, it smelled like a meal was being cooked and it smelled really good.

"I was making dinner for us to share, but if you don't mind having it with my parents too?"

"Of course." Ciel smiled. He looked around, the kitchen was quiet and empty. "Where are...?" Ciel raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, they're in their bedroom. They'll be out in a second, do you need anything? A hot drink?"

"A kiss?" Ciel smiled and Sebastian looked like he had almost forgotten, leaning in for a soft peck on Ciel's lips.

"I'm gonna get you some tea, too, by the way."

"Thank you."

Sebastian let him take a seat on the couch as he went to make the tea. Ciel took his seat and waited for Sebastian.
