Episode 1

Story begins after six years leap when vikram dewan left amritser.

Scene 1:

Vikram dewan is jogging in park. He wore a black jogging suite and white joggers of Nike. Headphone was around his neck.  Some young people were playing football and suddenly game got out of control, football is coming in direction of an old passer-by and just going to hit him. VD just came in time and returned ball with his flying kick towards goal post. And it's a goal. Girls around him got smitten by his move.
VD: (to the old man) are you OK? (he gave him some water)
Young people: (to the old man) are you alright. Did you get hurt. sorry uncle it was just an accident.
VD: (to young people) you should be careful. You are not playing in isolated ground. There are kids and some old people. A big accident could have happened.

(young people apologied and left. Old man smiled at vikram and gave him blessings)

Scene 2:

VD: It's time to go home, where is my sharni?

Then he noticed a 5 year old little girl, wearing a track suit with white band of his head, whose name is Anaya ( his and aditi's daughter, her nickname is SHARNI) is fighting with a little boy.

VD: There she is........!!! What is she doing?

(VD walked towards his sharni)

Anaya:  (to little boy) hey I saw it with my own eyes, you threw these stones due to which he fell down during skating. You have cheated.

Little boy: no I have not done anything wrong. You are lying. I have won this race.

VD:  what's wrong sharni. Why are you doing?

Anaya: Buddy he cheated but he is not accepting.

(little boy's father also came)

Little boy's father: what's wrong son.

Little boy: dad this girl is fighting with me. She called me cheater.

Little boy's father: (to VD) teach some manners to your daughter. She is framing my child. She is a liar.

VD: (angrily) my daughter never lies. She is my pride. Control your tone and selection of words. Instead of lecturing my daughter you should ask your child about what he has done.

Little boy's father threatened VD while pointing his finger toward him. Anaya saw his gesture and shout angrily.

VD: (saw her) what's wrong? Are you hurt?

Anaya: (to VD) I can tolerate anything but if anyone even try to threaten or hurt you, I can't tolerate.

(VD tried to calm her down, and said don't worry let me handle it.)

Anaya:(to Little boy and his father) fine, you are not admitting your mistake. OK!, let have a match if you and your father wins then we will apologize but if we win then you have to apologize to that boy and your father to my Buddy.

Scene 3:

(VD smiled while pridefuly looking at her. And says in his mind, "that's my sharni". Little boy and his father accepted the challenge. And the race began. Both teams starts the race with full energy, they have covered half of the distance. Winner is yet to be decided. In one minute little boy's team is in leading but in another mind it's buddy-sherni's team. Now distance of three minutes have left. VD saw finishing line while bending down a little and hold Anaya's hand and gear up his speed. Anaya smirked while looking towards his father the the finishing line. They crossed the finishing line and won the race. VD hold her sherni  in his arm and spin her in the air. She hugged his father and said you are coolest dad ever, Buddy, and kissed him on his cheek. Little boy accepted his mistake and apologize to Anaya and that kid, his father also realised his mistake and apologized. Then everyone left for home.)

Scene 4:

VD: Sherni, why did you become so angry? I have never saw you this much angry before. What if something happened to you?

Anaya: and why were you so polite? You should just punched his father on his face?

VD: (placing his hand on anaya's shoulder) Sherni! Listen to me. You can't solve everything with fighting, fighting should be your last option. You should always try to find your way with a smile.

Anaya: Buddy, I love you so much. I just can't tolerate anyone's evil intentions towards you. Usually I am polite but whenever it's come to you I just can't stop myself. I have never saw anyone pointing his finger towards you like that before. That's why I became angry. I am sorry. I won't do that again.

VD: (smiled at her and picked her in his arm) that's my sharni.

(They sat inside car and left for home. On his Way, VD looked at Anaya and said she is just like you aditi.)

Flash back: five years ago, aditi was in operation while he and his mother was outside.
Seema: viki my son don't worry she will be OK.
VD: Mom I don't why but I am getting really nervous. Will aditi and my child be alright?
Seema: Don't worry beta. Both of them will be alright.
(VD listen to the voice of a child's cry. Doctor Guri (Wife of VD's college Ravi) came outside and congratulate him)
Dr Guri: (to VD) you have become a father of little princess. Both mother and daughter is alright. We will shortly shift them in a room where you can meet them.

(VD's eyes filled with tears, he thanked God and goes inside room and saw his daughter in baby cradle. He reached out his hand to touch her. He picked her up in his hand. Tears rolled down over his checks.)

VD: (To his Daughter) I will never leave you side even for a second. (aditi opens her eyes and saw VD talking to her daughter). I won't let you get hurt. You are my "SHERNI". No matter what I will always be around you like your shadow. I will become your light in darkness.
(VD kissed her sherni on her forehead and then saw aditi)
Aditi: Vicky let me see our sherni.
(VD smiled at her and put her down beside aditi.)

Aditi: she is so beautiful.
VD: YES She is so Tiny. Look at her fingers, they are so cute. Thank you aditi. You have completed my life. You gave me world's biggest happiness. I can't even explain. I feel like I am on cloud nine.

Aditi: Vicky it's you and your love who completed me. Thank you for becoming the part of my life. You know after my mother's death there was no one around me when I became sick. It was you who looked for me when I was around for half a day, and take me to the hospital. It was just you who took care of me. You were the first person after my parents who celebrated my birthday with me. You were the very first person who makes me laugh and cry. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. Never leave my side. I can't live without you.

VD: I really love you. I won't leave you. (he hugged her and place a kiss on her head)

Seema enters. She performed some ritual to cast off evil eyes from his son, daughter and grandchild.

Seema: now we need to decide a name for this angle.
Aditi: well mom Vicky has already given her a nick name sherni. For the name why not you pick one for her.
VD: yes mom, it will be best if you decide a name for her.
Seema: then we should call her "Anaya".
VD and Aditi: (simultaneously said) Anaya....!!!
VD: wow it's sound so lovely.
Aditi: Right Vicky. So right from this moment the name of our sherni will be Anaya.
( seema, VD, aditi and Anaya huged each other)
