Episode 5

Scene 1:

Partab reached Amritser and started his investigation. He directly go to police station and met commissioner police. He took him in his confidence and explained about secret investigation. And tell its importance)

commissioner: Sir you don't worry. My team will cooperate you.

Partab: Right now I just want you not to reveal anything. This should be between us. I just want you install check posts on ever rout through which one can enter the city. Our officers must thoroughly check every car that enters in city. If they noticed anything, then you must inform us.

commissioner: OK sir ( I will do as you commanded).

Scene 2:

(Vikram came back to his office and saw sherni's miss call)

VD: sherni's call. She must be furious. (He called her and Anaya picked it.)

Anaya: Hello Buddy (Her voice does not sound angry. VD wondered)

VD: Have you eaten? I know you are angry but I am so sorry actually it was urgent meeting. Sorry I couldn't pick your call.

Anaya: Don't worry Buddy, I have taken my meal. ( VD was quite shocked) I knew that you must be busy. Otherwise you would have picked my call.

VD: Did you eat alone? (He shockingly sat on the chair) Are you alright. Did you catch a fever? Or are you too angry. Pass this phone to your teacher I need to talk to her.

Anaya: Buddy why are you panicking. I am not lying. You know that I don't lie.

VD: So you ate alone. And you are not angry at me. I just can't believe it.

Anaya: uffo Buddy, I really did eat. And actually I was angry at the beginning then Nice Big B said that you must be busy with something important and you will call later so I shouldn't be angry and must have a meal.

VD: (Smiled) NICE BIG B.......!!! Who is he? And what's his name.

(Karan was talking to Sarab and Mehar)

Mehar: how are you putar ji? How was the competition?

Sarab: mehar ji, what is there to ask. He must have rocked today.

Karan: Yes mama and papa. I have won today's competition. And you know there are a lot of students. I have made a lot of friends. Mama Today I met a cute little girl, she became my best friend. She is very sweet.

Sarab: Wah putar ji, if you are praising someone then she must be very good girl. Right Mehar ji.

Mehar: Right, but putar ji you didn't tell us her name.

Karan: Her name is Anaya. She is honest and caring. I lost my watch today it was her who found it for me. And you know she has a kind heart, she gave her food to a poor hungry girl. (Flashback started: 2 years ago, VD and Mayank's team were on combined operation. They were in the middle of cross-firing. Suddenly a bullet was shooted towards VD, Mayank saw it and moved towards VD to save him. He pushed VD down, and bullet him him in his arm. Then he fell down into the flowing river. VD could not hold him. Back-up arrived and catched those criminals. Police tried to find Maybank, but couldn't find him. Government declared him MIA (missing in action).  But Guri did not believed it. VD promised her that he will find him. He won't stop looking for him until he finds him.)

VD: I know you are worrying about Maybank. But trust me, I haven't stopped looking for him even for a day in past two years.

Guri: I know, you are also worrying about him. You know he is so lucky to have a friend like you. Who is still looking for him. You are also fulfilling all his responsibilities. And I know one day you will fulfilled your promise.

VD: I am not taking care of you just because of him, you are my family. You are my sister.

(Guri smiled)

VD: Thank you sooooooo much for trusting me. I won't give up until I found him.

(They went inside. VD is making coffee)

Guri: Well have you talked your little Sherni? How is she doing in Mumbai.

VD: (laughed) SHERNI...... She is quite happy. She has qualified for next round. And you know a miracle happened today

Guri: MIRACLE

VD: YES She ate without me, moreover She wasn't angry at me for being late.

Guri: that's big improvement. After all you have spoiled her a little.

VD: spoiled.......!!! Yes I have but in a cute way. (smiled proudly) she can distinguish right from wrong.

Guri: Yes she is really cute. Look without her, how quite is this house. It feels so empty.

VD: yah right, you know she told me about her new friend. I don't know his name but she called him "NICE BIG B".

Guri: hahaha that's quite long name.

VD: you know her! That's our SHERNI. But this kid is quite interesting. Just because of him she ate her meal and wasn't angry at me.

Guri: Quite interesting. You should meet him.

VD: I will, Well I am kinda feeling relaxed to know that sherni has that kid besides her. (He felt some connection to Karan). It is just that I can't explain this feeling. (He lost in Anaya's conversations about Karan while drinking his coffee).
