The great oaks are tall and strong, block the hatred out and keep the secrets in, they are old, very old; older than you and me as a matter of fact. The breeze hits them sharply yet no damage had been taken by these accent trees. The wind even as sharp and cold as it is may just be a friend of the great oak trees. I would like to say that the great oaks have many conversations with the breeze that hit them from time to time. The breeze may come and go but the wind is older than all those trees, and who would've thought that the same thing can be different ages. Well, the oaks thought that but they shan't tell us that oh no. The oaks are very sleepy so they won't bother you. They sleep like a little baby that just drank some warm milk but by no means wake them because their bark is hard and rough. Besides, it's quite rude to wake your elders if it isn't important you know. The great oaks are moss-ridden, so moss ridden from their roots to their waist there soft moist, and have a scent of rain and dirt. Oaks are very smart. I tell you they have so much wisdom they almost ooze with it. They particularly don't like to show off how wise they are though well that is till you go running off with your lip in your hole. They stand tall and don't move much which is the most wonderous job they have ever needed. The oaks may be old and sometimes a bit bitter but the wonders and secrets that lie behind the tall thick and twisted trunks of the oak are worth the protection from them. Oaks may not be magical or do much of anything of interest but they do one thing that makes the things beyond it safe and that my curious friend is the most important part of all. So let the old tall oak trees sleep and gain more rings so the things that are left to that forest sing in peace.
