Chapter 1 A small surprise

Jenn's
P.O.V
I drove down the streets of LA I was on my way home with groceries for dinner. I was about to turn when I saw something on the sidewalk near a pond. It was a blanket but it was moving i pulled over to offer the person a ride. As I got out of my car I walked closer the person was small a homeless kid? I asked myself but as I reached the moving blanket I was shocked it was a baby! I quickly removed my flannel shirt from my waist and wrapped it around the kid. "You poor thing, who would leave you out here?" I said then saw a piece of paper it had writing on it. It was a letter it said

If someone finds this then that means you found my daughter.
I had to leave my husband and hide my daughter.
please take care of her.
I did this because I love her.
She is a month old and I
Hope whoever finds this
Will treat her like there own daughter

I crumpled the paper love her my ass! You don't just leave a baby in the street.
"Don't worry You'll be in a house in no time but first Jenn needs to call her mommy." I said in a silly voice and I called my mom.
"Hello"
"Hi mom." I said my voice shaking
"Jenn honey what's wrong?" She asked
"Uh well I found something on the street." I said trying too figure out how to explain about the baby.
"What did you find Jen?"
I took a deep breath and said.
"A baby."
"Jenn is this another prank call?"
"No mom I found a baby on the side walk."
"Ok is the baby warm?"
"Yeah I wrapped it in my flannel shirt."
"Okay get it to the hospital then see what the doctors say.
"Okay."
I hung up the phone and drove to the hospital then called Andrea and told her about the baby. Twenty minutes later Andrea, Arden and Lauren showed up.

Andrea's
P.O.V
I was shocked when Jenn said she found a baby. Arden, Lauren and myself burst through the door. Jen was standing there walking back and forth as a baby cried in her arms. "It's okay, it's okay doctors are going to make sure your healthy." She looked up to see us. "Hey guys look what I found." She said jokingly as a doctor walked out. "Well Ms. Mcallister this baby is in perfect shape unfortunately the foster home isn't opened this late. "Well she could stay with us and in the morning we'll try to reach child services." I said my friends looked at me.
"Andrea are you sure about that I mean it's a lot of work taking care of a baby." I nodded and said it wouldn't be so hard.

We picked up some baby stuff on the way home you know baby food, bottle, baby cloths and few books on what to do.when we got home Jen handed her to me. "Hi there." I said smiling we all took turns the baby seemed to favor Jenn don't know why but every time Jenn handed her to one of us or put her down she'd cry but the minute Jenn came back or picked her up she'd stop I looked at Jen. "She really likes you." I said as I handed Jen a bottle. Jenn took it and started feeding her. "I know and you know it's really strange Andréa but some how I feel like I was meant to find her." She said as she rocked the baby back and fourth. It was a shame that we'd have too give her away Jen seemed so happy as did the baby, then I had an idea. "Jen this might sound crazy but what do you think of adopting her?" I asked Jen looked up and handed a sleeping baby to Lauren. Lauren took her up stairs as Jen looked at me. "Andrea I don't know the first thing about being a mom, and we don't have a crib or diapers, your forgetting we have videos every week for youtube plus I'm only eighteen."

"Well Lauren's twenty and you wouldn't be doing it all alone we'll all help. Jen hesitated. "Andrea lets do it, lets bring a 5th girl into this home." I smiled saying she needed a name. "Well I found her on Maddison Drive, Why don't we call her Maddison." Jenn suggested Lauren walked into the room
"Maddison Mcallister it fits her." I told Arden and Lauren about adopting Maddison. Lauren nodded saying she'd straighten it out in the morning.
