Chapter 2 Bad dreams And flashback

Dan's
P.O.V
I walked over to were Claudia was standing Amanda said high then left me and Claudia alone I hugged her "Daniel." "I missed you Claudia." I said as we parted. "I thought you went down with the ship." I shook my head saying I almost did but was rescued from the water with Jen, Amanda, and Andrea. After that we spent the whole day together.

Hotel
1:30 AM
I woke up panting and drenched in sweat I looked around I was in my room I saw the clock it was one thirty in the morning. I showered and put some jeans on. I walked down stairs and sat down on the sofa the lights turned on and I felt a hand on my shoulder.

Claudia's
P.O.V
It was one thirty when I heard movement in the hall kinda strange I looked up to see dan walking downstairs I fallowed and placed my hand on his shoulder. "What's troubling you?" I asked he looked up and smiled. "Nothing, I remember when I gave that to you."
He said referring to my necklace. I sighed asking how long it was going to be before he started to be honest with me.
"It was a dream."
"Bad." I asked
He nodded and said, "Like the ones about Jeff right before he died."
"And?" He looked at me I saw fear in his eyes.
"And it was about you?"
"Tell me." I said he said it was only a dream.
Getting up he took a few steps back then sighed. What he said next was shocking.
"Okay, we were in the moment and it was good...it was great but I lost myself in the moment and my other side came out and..." I cut him off.
"Dan it was a nightmare." I said Dan shook his head saying nightmares you can wake up from. I was confused he sat on the bed and explained.
"Five years ago I was with a girl, we were getting close and I was caught up in the moment. I tried to fight it I did but..." He trailed off I sat down next to him.
"Okay what happened, did you...did you kill her?" I asked dreading the answer dan shook his head saying only because she was fast enough to escape I looked at him he looked down. It was like looking at child who knew they were in trouble.
"Daniel you...you have always been able to control yourself around me." He looked at me saying he'd been putting up one hell of a fight. Then turning to me he added. "Truth is, I've never felt so out of control then I do when I'm with you." Tried to assure him it was only a dream. "I won't let this become real." I took his hand in mine and looking him dead in the eye I said. "Dan I love you more then anything and I know you feel the same way. That's how I know you would never hurt me."

Jen's
P.O.V
I sat outside holding Maddison Lauren was filling out some papers so we could have custody of the baby seeing as Lauren is twenty she's the adult of us all. Maddison was playing with my hair. "Your the most beautiful baby in the world." I said in a silly voice then looked up to see Amanda, Lia, Claudia and the guy Dan who she had been letting stay at her place until he could find a place of his own. Dan was a nice guy and an artist who was very good but didn't make any money off it. He also got Lia and the rest of us off a sinking ship. He always wore red and blue well recently he's been wearing black and green was maybe 5'9 and had an athletic build very handsome he and Lia had started dating on the ship but broke up after she fell for J.C and call me crazy but I think he and Claudia are dating. I still remember when he saved my life as well as Andrea's and Lia's.

Flash back
11:30 pm
North Atlantic
Arden, Lauren and the others had made it to the life boats me and and Andrea as well as Dan where in the freezing water. "Andrea, Dan!" I called out in the crowed of screaming poeple. When some thing pushed me under water. They were trying to stay out of the water even if it meant drowning me! I saw Andrea "Andrea help!" I screamed Andrea turned to see me struggling with the man. My friend swam over "Jen!" She screamed "get away from her!" Another voice said I turned to see Dan he warned the man again then punched him. The man backed off. "Dan!" Andrea and I said in unison. "Swim girls! I need you to swim!" He urged and lead the way or to a piece of wood. Making sure we were safe he found Lia.

Lia had also found something to float on but as soon as Dan tried to get on the thing almost tipped Lia screamed. "Stay on it, stay on it Lia."Dan's voice said me and Andrea drifted closer too see Dan swim to the front so he was facing her. He assured her as long as she stayed on the floating piece of wood she'd be okay. "Here Dan get on." I said frantically if Dan didn't he'd freeze to daeth. "N-no Jen you guys stay on." Dan stuttered he was beginning to feel the cold. Almost all of Dan's body was in the water. We then heard someone calling us.

End flashback
Lia had stopped in front of me asking if the baby was real? I nodded saying as real as a baby could be. And then stood up looking at her and smiled. "Guys meet my daughter, Maddison." I said "Can I hold her? Amanda asked I nodded but as soon as I handed her to Amanda she started crying. "Well she's kinda fussy." I looked at my watch "She must be hungry." I said and handed Amanda the bottle. "Here you go". Maddison stopped crying and took the bottle. "Well look at that." I said when ever I handed the little one to another person she'd cry like mad but now she was as calm as could be. "So Jen how've you been?"

Dan asked I assured him I was good he then looked at me. "May I?" He asked I nodded Amanda gave the baby to Dan who held her for a minute and said   "hi Maddision I'm Dan." Maddision smiled and let out a cute giggle then Dan handed her back to me. As Maddison continued to enjoy her bottle Lauren walked up.
"Hey Jen good news she's ours." I smiled as Maddison squeezed my finger as i asked what the bad news was. "Well we need a lot of stuff including a crib." I nodded and burped Maddison. "Actually Save your money my parents still have a lot of junk from when I was a baby."
I nodded and looked down at Maddison "its settled then you are now a part of the youtube family." I said dan looked tired like he hadn't slept in maybe two or three weeks. "Dan you okay you look out of it." I said he nodded.
"Yeah I'm fine." I got up an the four of us walked off.  Took turns with Amanda carrying Maddision as we walked home Dan baught over some baby stuff and started building the crib.

Dan's
P.O.V
Between the dreams and almost freezing to death a year ago I haven't got much sleep I remember it so well.

Flash back
North Atlantic
11:35 PM
I floated in the freezing water because the wreckage I had found could only support one so I let
Lia stay on it. I had also found Jen and Andrea something to float on as well Then I saw a rescue boat one man called out saying "you four don't move we're coming." I turned to the girls You see help is on its way girls, just hold on a little longer. We have to wait for them to rescue others but there on the way."
My friends nodded.

11:45
As time passed it got quite. We were floating next to Jen and Andrea now I was loseing feeing in my body I looked at Andrea and Jen there body's were shaking, they were white as a ghost and there hair was frozen soled. "W-w-we're going to die out here aren't we?" Jen asked I felt my body shaking. Looking at Lia I saw her lips were blue, she was also very white and parts of her beautiful blonde hair was as frozen as Andrea and Jen's I looked at Jen she looked so afraid. Andrea shook her head. "D-d-don't talk like that J-J-Jen" Andrea said but all of us were sire-coming to hypothermia. I knew my body would be the first to shut down seeing as I was in the water. Lia noticed how quite it was getting. I looked around people who were once calling for help were now very still like they were sleeping. They were just floating I saw a woman's lifeless body holding her dead baby. I heard the rescue team cursing trying to start the motor boat witch had died. I looked at Amanda "It's going to take a few minutes for the b-b-boat to get here I don't know about you girls. But I plane to have a word with the poeple who built the ship." I joked through chattering teeth I was trying to be strong for my friends but my voice was very weak. Lia was very quite then told me she loved me.

End flash back
I built the crib and helped set up a bunch of baby stuff then I went home I was tired Amanda decided to stay with the baby and the others. I just wanted to clear my head I could NOT stand the thought of hurting Claudia or Amanda or Jen mostly Claudia. I hung around watching some T.V playing video games then looking out my window I saw something. No not something some one and he saw me.
