Chapter 16 silver back Alpha

Andrea's
POV
I looked at what was supposed to be the exit "It's blocked, can you see anything?" Lauren asked Ryan shook his head as we all looked down, Then the roof started to cave. "Look out! Ryan cried and dove at me as parts of the ceiling started to fall "go,go Lauren move!" Shea cried we all did except Ryan.
"Ryan!" I cried.
Ryan has rushed over and is holding a part of the ceiling.  Ryan's eyes turn orange.

Dan's
P.O.V
Sebastian charged at Adam and tried to punch him. He caught his fist then his other an chuckled then the man Kyle walked over and tried to attack him. This did not work either Adam grabbed both by the neck and started choking them both. He threw Sebastian then back handed Kyle who went flying. Adam then grabbed Kyle by his hair and dragged him over and forced Kyle to his knees.
"Now kill him." He ordered I didn't move "do it." He let out a roar forcing me to transform. "Now kill him, the others are dying, that storm out there it's his connection to the earth kill him and it ends." Kyle eyed me saying it wouldn't end with him that I'd be forced to kill all the poeple I love. "There dying Dan." He stated "Jenn's daughter and your other friends kill him now and it's over. Become the Plutonian you were meant to be, become a killer." I got up saying Madison wasn't dead. "And who's going to save her and the others, you're friends. I shook my head and said "my troop." He looked at me and super sped over to me.

POV
"Is it me or is this place getting smaller?" I asked as I struggled to keep us all from being barred alive. The ceiling was a lot heavier then I thought it.

Amanda's
POV
Renae rushed in with two tanks and put on what I can only guess was an oxygen mask over J.C and Jana, She then took a syringe and stuck it into J.C's arm.

I was taken by surprise as Adam sped over to me."May be you need some guidance." He said grabbing me and dragged me to Kyle. "Wait I forgot to tell you something." He stopped looking at me I repeated the words my mentor had said about deception and taking a flash bang explosive I closed my eyes and threw it. He screamed letting go as I ran across the room. He fell to the floor. At that minute the eclipse started. We all reverted back to our human form. "No, the eclipse it started." Adam said I looked to see Kyle was nowhere in sight. "Oh no." I said

Andrea's
POV I watched as Ryan and Lauren struggle to keep us all from being crushed "I can't keep this up!" Ryan cried as Lauren grunted I tried along with Shea to keep the ceiling from crushing us. "It to much, it's to heavy!" I cried it was like that scene from Star Wars. You know the one were Luke Lia and Han were almost crushed by the trash compactor. Only this time it was a ceiling that was going to kill us!

Just as time seems to be running out Jeff arrives and places a aluminum bat I between the ground and the Ceiling and Rhydian who's eyes are glowing yellow helps keep the ceiling steady.

Jeff's
POV
I was amazed as the chaos stopped the bat was supporting the ceiling. "Dad always said aluminum was better then wood." I said Ryan rushed over and smiled as I hugged my old friend. I then turned to Rhydian "I got it." He assured me.

Sebastian's
POV
I watched in horror as Kyle walked back into the barn is true form showing. I watched as he sped over to Dan and with one punch sent my friend flying into a wall. Then he sped over to Adam and took him down easily! I saw Dan recover as Adam's skull was repeatedly smashed to the ground! Then I had an idea.

"Kyle stop he doesn't know!"

"Know what?!?" Kyle asked.
I took a step forward and said he didn't know the price Kyle paid, what Kyle looked like. Kyle nodded saying "you're right, he doesn't."
Then Kyle kneeled down and touched Adam's face from what Dan had told me the battle on the ship had damaged his sight things were ether a blur to the Martian or he didn't see at all.

Adam screams as Kyle restores his sight.

We all watched as Kyle stood up. "Now, turn to me." He said Adam did no such thing "LOOK AT ME!" Kyle ordered Adam did a look of terror crossed his face but left as Kyle had reverted back to human. I caught him as he collapsed "what is this?" He asked "healing him made you week just like Healing Dan would make me you won't have your strength for at least a few minutes." I explained to the week man.

"Then you do it kill him." He begged I shook my head and said no. "What?" He asked shocked I looked Dan and repeated the words he had once told me. "I maybe a predator but I will not be a killer." Then I grabbed him by the neck and began to choke him "let the others go!" I said Kyle broke free and knocked me to the floor and started repeatedly punching me in the face. He then got up and turned to walk over to finish what he started. I got back to my feet and tried to attack but without my powers I was not going to win.

As the two struggle the eclipse ends and Sebastian's eyes turn orange as he gets his powers back.

"Your time up." I said and pushed him down. Dan got up and ran over to Kyle who backed into another room and turned the thermostat up to 89 degrees Dan skidded to a stop.

Dan's
POV
I skidded to a stop when I saw the temperature. Basically the room he was in had a force field. I was like a vampire who hadn't been invited in. I watched as he closed the door to the room closed. "Like I told you Sebastian ether you or the others I guess I'll have to kill them now." I glared at Kyle as he finished saying soon they'd be dead and he wouldn't need any help to kill a super charged Martian. I took a step forward and reached for the door. "You tried this on the ship Dan." He sneered "you didn't have much success then." Despite the truth of his statement I put both hands on the door and pushed! It was like touching fire but I ignored the burning sensation that shot through my body.

As Dan presses against the door there appears to be an invisible barrier as he pushes against it gritting his teeth in pain his eyes glow green! Dan continues to apply pressure using his super strength, Dan is now surrounded by light. Making him look like an angelic being. Dan's eyes go from green to golden brown, the sneer vanishes from Kyle's face as Dan begins to break through and then his eyes turn ruby red. As Dan's eyes change color everyone now comes to understand what has happened Dan has achieved the rank of alpha! Not just an alpha but a silverback alpha.

Sebastian's
POV
As I watched in amazement as one of my closest friends become a silverback through willpower alone, Maddy the alpha had been right! I took a step back as Dan stepped forward Kyle gasped and took a big step back. I did the same as my friend broke through the barrier and caused a shockwave knocking Kyle off his feet. Dan took a deep breath as he tossed the door aside. "How did you do that?" He asked in shock as he got to his feet. "I'm a silverback now." Was my friends simple reply.

Dan and Sebastian don't notice Adam get to his feet.
Dan's
POV
I'm a silverback now." I said eyeing the man "were ever Maddison and my friends are let them go, or I'll kill you myself. I don't care if it costs me my humanity." I said Kyle glared at me "I don't have mine so allow me!" Adam said as we walked over and slashed Kyle's throat. Kyle gagged and gasped before falling over dead.

POV
The storm stopped and the wind settled. "Is it over?" Lauren asked we all looked at each other and laughed happy to be alive.

Jenn's
POV
As Amanda helped Renae clean up I looked down at J.C who smiled at me. "I knew it." He said I eyed him confused "Knew what?" He smirked "I knew you still liked me." I rolled my eyes and smiled. Maddy was helping Jana up as well the eclipse had caused her to transform partly. But she was human now.

Jeff's
POV
My phone buzzed seeing Dan's name I answered it. "Dan?" I asked just to be sure.
"Hey, you okay?" Came my friends worried voice.
I looked at everyone around me each one smiling. "yeah, we're okay, we're all okay. How about you you guys okay?" I replied
There was a pause then Dan said "sort of." When I asked if he could come get us he agreed.

Dan's
POV
"Thats great, hey Dan you might need to bring a ladder." Jeff said I heard everyone laugh. I hung up and turned to Adam. "My father once said you were a man of vision," Sebastian said then added that we were letting him go hoping he'd become that man again. "But if your not, having your super sight won't matter because you'll never see us coming." I said and along with Sebastian walked away.
