Chapter 13
The next day after school Anna and I had planned to go to the mall to get all the things we needed to put our plan into action. We spent the whole day there buying clothes, shoes, jewelry, and make up. Since we both were well off financially, getting everything we needed in one day wasn't that hard. The whole time I had no idea what to get or what I was doing, so Anna guided me since she'd done this a million times before. I also made sure to tell her not to get anything pink, not even underwear.
By the time we were done and in the car, it was seven going on eight o' clock. Luckily her parents let her borrow their car so we wouldn't have to catch the bus. Plus we bought a lot of stuff and it was just too much to carry, it would suck carrying all that home.
"That was the most shopping I have ever done in my life!" Anna said when we got in the car. "But it's so going to be worth it when we take those bitches down."
"It's nice to know you had fun." I said with fake enthusiasm. I on the other hand have never went shopping a day in my life. Or near a mall for that matter. My kind of shopping consisted of going to the laundromat and taking the left over clothes that people left when owner isn't looking. I see a shirt, take it, that's my shopping.
Anna looked at me. "What? You didn't have fun?"
"I have never been to a mall, this is all new to me."
Anna's eyes widened at what I said. "You've never been to a mall before?"
I shook my head.
"Wow, I never met anyone who's never been to the mall before." She pause for a moment. "This is so cool! I have so much to teach you! You shall be my grasshopper and I will teach you everything I know. Oh my gosh! This is almost like The Karate Kid!" She gasped. "Or like Star Wars. I'm Yoda and you're the Jedi."
I leaned over and grabbed her chin. She looked extremely surprised at my action. Good, finally got her attention. "You never cease to amaze me with the things that come out of your mouth. Now start the car, I'm ready to go now."
She nodded her head and started the car like I had her under a spell. When got on the road, Anna started talking again. "Soo, you gonna tell me how you know Jordan?" She asked trying to squeeze it out of me.
I rolled my eyes. "I don't want to talk about it. I'm not very fond of him yet. Or will I ever be."
"Oh come on! You can tell me, I won't tell anyone." She urged. Then her face looked like she just realized something. "Oh my gosh! Was that you at his house to watch football on Sunday?!"
I turned to her in pure shock and horror. How did she know about that?! "How do you know that?!"
"Cam told me." She said like it was no big deal. "Well, he told me about you but he didn't mention your name. He told me about how you kicked his ass and Jordan's! It was hilarious, it wasn't to him but it was to me!"
I started shaking my head. "I am so going to kill your brother. He just doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut."
"Oh lighten up. He only told me. So, how did you and Jordan meet anyway?"
I let out a puff if air. I really didn't feel like telling her this, but I was going to do it anyway to get her to shut up about it. "We met at that restaurant downtown."
Her eyebrow quirked up. "The one his mother owns?"
"Yeah."
"Aaaw! How romantic!"
"It's not romantic."
"Ooh, yes it is. And speaking of restaurants, I'm hungry let's eat!" We pulled into a parking lot of an unfamiliar restaurant.
