Chapter 6
At a local day care center a little girl sits at a children's table drawing pictures. A teacher comes to tell the child its nap time and kneels down next to her. The woman examines what the little girl is drawing. She sees pictures of what seems to be a person with their head cut off with blood spitting out of the body. She looks at the other drawings she drew and saw that they were different but all consisted of blood.
The pictures were sloppy and child like but one could still distinguish what they were. The woman found this to be disturbing, especially among a child. She had never seen a child think such disturbing thoughts let alone draw them. She decided not to ask about the pictures and would just show them to her mother when she came to get her.
"Sweetie, drawing time is over. Its nap time." The girl never looked up from her drawing.
"I don't want to take a nap." She said in a low tone.
"But honey, its nap time." The woman tried to reason. This time the little girl stopped drawing and looked at the woman that stood before her.
"I said I don't wonna take a nap." She snapped. The woman was taken aback at her tone.
"I don't like your tone young lady, apologize right now."
"No." The little girl said with defiance.
The woman started to get frustrated but tried not to show it. The child saw it and she was enjoying it. "You've got til the count of three to apologize right now...one...two..."
"I said no! Now leave me alone!"
"That's it! In the time out corner you go young lady!" The woman grabbed the child by the arm and began trying to take her to the time out corner. The little girl pulled out of the woman's grasp, picked up a near by toy throwing it at her. It hit her successfully.
"Ow! Rina what has gotten into you?!" The little girl giggles at the woman's pain and frustration and began throwing more toys at her. The sight of the woman in pain brings great joy to her. She picks up another toy and throws it. This time it hits the woman in the mouth and she begins to bleed.
"Wow, real blood." The child says to herself. This was her first time seeing real blood and in person too! She's seen blood on tv and in the movies but never in real life. She considered this an amazing experience to remember for years to come. It was only a little bit but she wanted to see more.
"Rina look what you've done! Now I'm bleeding!" She rushes to get some tissue to attend to her bleeding mouth. "Your mother is not going to be happy when she hears about this!" Just then another staff member walks over to see what all the fuss was about. It was a chubby brunette hair woman.
"What is going on over here?" She asked looking from the bleeding co-worker to the little girl. "Did you do this Rina?"
"No." She lied.
The bleeding staff member pipes in. "Yes she did do this," the little girl narrowed her eyes. "I just came over to tell her its nap time and she said 'no'. So, I tried to put her in the time out corner and she started throwing toys at me." She said still holding her mouth.
"Rina how could you do something like this? You know better. Just wait until your mother hears about this." The other woman scolded.
Little did they know, Rina didn't care if they called her parents. In fact, she despised her parents and she wanted them gone. Everyday at day care she would hope that her mother would get into a horrific car accident and die. But her hopes remain unsatisfied.
