Kayla POV
I was jumping on my bed sucking on a lollipop. I had woken up at five in the morning and today was school. My very first day.
It was around seven when Damon came into the room.
"What do you want Damon?" I asked, still jumping on my bed like the crazy animal I am.
"I see you're all dolled up for school." He said adding his not-so-famous smirk. I was wearing a top that said 'You can't resist my awesome!" in cursive. I also had black skinny jeans and orange and black high tops, that only some people can pull off. I also had my black leather jacket on. It was tight and only went up to my waste.
"Why thank you!" I said sarcastically.
"I bet you ten bucks your scared to go to school." Damon said with a smirk.
"Well I guess you owe me ten then." I told him. "C'mon Damon, I'm like a walking definition of awesome, no one will be able to resist me. Plus I think I'll scare more people, then people will scare me."
"If your awesome, I'm sexy as hell." He cockily bragged.
"I don't think people in hell would look to good. They'd be burning after all." I reminded him. "And I can resist your awesome." I said walking past him and out of the room.
"Coffee!" I yelled, walking down the stairs.
I yelled mostly to annoy Stefan but also because I'm used to it. I could whisper it and he'd still hear what I said.
By the time I actually got to the kitchen, which took about ten seconds, Stefan had made my coffee and handed me the large mug filled with it.
"You should cut down on the caffeine." Stefan said.
"It helps with the cravings." I mocked, it's what Stefan says all the time, so I just copied him.
"Ha-ha." Stefan muttered, "but your still part human."
"My human side is long gone." I said. "Your about fourteen years late."
"Hm. Right." Stefan said. "Well we are leaving in about ten minutes since we need to sign you up." Stefan said then stalked off to his room.
Ten minutes later Stefan came down and said "Lets go."
"Wait I gotta get my bag." I said.
Damon came down in vampire speed and handed me my bag.
"Thanks Damon!" I said and hugged him. "Bye!" He just smirked back in return.
Soon we arrived at school in Stefan's old, but awesome sports car. I stepped out of the car and all eyes were on Stefan and I. Stefan has been going here for like three months now, you'd think they'd be use to sexy blood eating vampires walking in their school.
With a little compulsion, I got my schedule. My last name was Salvatore saying that we changed it after the Salvatore family kindly took me in a couple of years back.
My story was that my parents passed away two years ago and I have been living with the salvatores since. Even though I'm acting sixteen, although I look about seventeen-eighteen, I'm in the same grade as Stefan, and I'm telling everyone I skipped a grade.
The one thing I hate is some people treating me like I'm a child. When I had lived only two years, I was already physically and mentally fully developed. Yes, I missed out on a lot of my childhood. I didn't get to experience things that other kids did, but I'm not sad. I can live with not experiencing Kindergarden. I'm use to people treating me like I'm still a child, when I probably no a lot more than them, considering I've been the same for almost sixteen years now.
