Don't worry. I don't own anything. It is the world of JK Rowling. We are just living in it ;) And none of the art except the cover page belong to me. HAPPY READING!

Hermione and Susan were escorted to their room for the next four months, if Merlin allowed, Hermione thought.

"How can a person not change a bit even after a whole 10 years!" Susan exclaimed.

"How I hope I could agree with you, dear but I really think that he did not know about us coming here. All the evidences are pointing to the same thing that he was unaware of this."

"If that is the case, maybe we should give him the benefit of doubt."

"Even if he is a slimy git. But it is not right on both Mrs. Malfoy's and Theo's part to keep him in the darkness. He is after all who we have to deal with and find a suitor for." Hermione continued "I can't believe I took up on a job before meeting the client, it is so unlike me."

"Okay, then we need to get to work even if in this state. I will first try to arrange a formal dinner with His Majesty and also work on the suitable candidates that are available in the time frame."

"Yes, that would be best, but I need you to come with me to the dinner. I won't sit with him alone even if he was declared clear of all the charges."

"Oho, I can't believe you just said that Mione."

God, she hated the nickname, Hermione thought.

"Yes, he was a death eater and was proved non-guilty, it's been 10 years already."

"Yeah I know, but that doesn't mean I'll forgive him for all the times he bullied me and Harry in Hogwarts." She counter argued.

"Hey, you need to talk to him, make him open up to you so that we both can work efficiently. This is your department. You can do it."

Hermione look down and then suddenly raised her head renewed with spirit. "Yes, I can and will do it. If I couldn't deal with this, I shouldn't have taken on this job."

"Calm down Draco, let me explain. It is only for you and your well being."

"I get that mum, the least you could do was to discuss this with me prior to their arrival. I almost made a fool out of myself. On a completely different note, do we need to resort to such matters for this? Seriously, consulting a matchmaker." Draco seethed.

"Draco, if it were up to me, the best way was to have an arranged marriage for you with a lady from a decent household, preferably of a pureblood status. Nonetheless, I want nothing but happiness and love for you. I want you to live."

"I know, mum." He ran his fingers through his hair and thought about it. "But why Granger? You know she would love to wreck me. What would you do if I bullied you throughout your school life and suddenly you were asked to find me a wife? Huh?"

"But if I had any confidence in your own pursuits, I would've never brought her on board before consulting you to employing their services. However you and I rarely see eye to eye these days." She explained knowing he would have no reply to her.

"The point now is that I'm confident you'll come to embrace her presence and give her the respect and consideration she deserves."

Draco thought about it and felt in his heart what he did was wrong. It was no way to treat someone on their work.
