FRIDAY 13th - Adult-themed adventure

Tuesday 10th

Cathy gets the 08:08 train and arrives at the offices around 8:30 am.

She stands at the door for a few moments until Dave arrives and he rings the doorbell.

Jenny Craig comes out of the staff area and after checking there were no muggers around she opens the door to let Dave, Cathy, and Maggie, who arrived just then, to enter... then closes the door again.

Following the usual round of "morning" from everyone Cathy deposits her bag into locker 13 and she checks her hair, skirt, blouse, and shoes were their usual pristine condition.

Around 10 minutes to 9 Cathy was ready to start work when Jenny Craig comes to her.

Jenny:

"Cathy, could you do me a huge favour?"

Cathy:

"Sure, if I can."

Jenny beckons Cathy to join her at the main door.

Jenny shows Cathy how to operate the door release buttons and then asks her to let her out for a fag and she is warned to make sure the door remains fully closed until she returns.

Cathy is very happy to comply.

At 12 noon Jenny Craig left for her lunch-break and she arranged for Cathy to go for her lunch at 12:30 but warned her to make sure Beatrice was back and ready to start before she stops.

Cathy was happy to comply again.

By 12:30 Beatrice had returned from her lunch and Cathy decided she should now go for hers.

With lunchbox in hand she exits the office and makes her way to the church grotto, as she had done yesterday, and, as expected, she meets Jenny Craig smoking there.

Cathy:

"Hi, Jenny. Do you mind if I join you and Charlie?"

Jenny:

"Sure, no problem. I'm sure Charlie won't mind."

Cathy:

"I realised last night that Janey Mitchell was in the team."

Jenny:

"It took a little longer than I expected for you to figure it out, but, I suppose it was before you were born."

Cathy:

"I looked her up on Google and her life has a lot of ups-and-downs it seems."

Jenny: (warns sternly)

"We never mention the downs.

It is all in her past and should remain there. Okay?"

Cathy:

"I quite agree. I also looked Sophia up.

Jenny:

Yes, Our Sophia was quite an accomplished swimmer in her youth.

Cathy:

As I, also, found out last night. So, what's your claim to fame?"

Jenny:

"Guess?"

Cathy:

"You said you were famous for 4 weeks in the spotlight?"

Jenny:

"Correct."

Cathy:

"Was this recently?"

Jenny:

"Around 15 years ago."

Cathy:

"Were you on the telly?"
