The girls return to their former position near the bar and are almost immediately joined by another two middle-aged gents wearing tuxedos.

Dan Dare:

"Good evening, ladies."

Sapphire:

"Good evening, Sir."

Dan Dare:

"May we... offer you, ladies, a drink?"

Sapphire:

"Certainly, sir, Vodka and lemonade on the rocks for me, Please."

Chastity:

"Same for me, please."

Dan Dare: (To barman)

"Two Vodkas with lemonade on the rocks, please Vince, for the ladies. Thanks."

Vincent: (To Sapphire)

"Same as usual?"

Sapphire:

"Exactly the same, please."

Vincent:

"Coming right up."

Sapphire:

"And you are, Sir?"

Dan Dare:

"I am Dan Dare." (Sapphire shakes his hand)

"And my guest is Dangermouse." (Sapphire shakes the younger man's hand)

Sapphire:

"I am Sapphire, and this is my guest, Miss Cherry Velvet."

(Both gents shake hands with Chastity)

Chastity:

"Rarely do we meet gentlemen with such impeccable manners."

Dan Dare:

"A lady should always be treated like a princess at all times, my dear."

Chastity:

"Indeed, a lady should always feel like she is being treated like a princess."

Vincent:

"Your drinks, ladies."

Sapphire:

"Thank you, and many thanks to you, Sirs. Your very good health."

Chastity:

"Indeed, many thanks, Sir. A pleasure to meet you."

Dan Dare:

"It is indeed our pleasure, Ladies."

Sapphire:

"Have you entered yourselves for the 'guest' challenge?"

Dan Dare:

"We have, and I must say, we hope we will get to compete with you two."

Sapphire:

"We look forward to it, Gents."

Chastity:

"Dangermouse? Why Dangermouse?"

Dangermouse:

"Just a spur of the moment thing, I'm afraid. Couldn't think of anything else at the time."

Dan Dare:

"Why Cherry Velvet?"

Sapphire:

"Chaz used to own a racehorse named Cherry Velvet."
