𝓘 𝓭𝓲𝓭𝓷'𝓽 𝓾𝓹𝓭𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓵𝓪𝓼𝓽 𝓭𝓪𝔂 𝓼𝓸 𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓰𝓸, 𝓘 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓾𝓹𝓭𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓪𝓰𝓪𝓲𝓷 𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓪𝓯𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓘 𝓰𝓮𝓽 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮 𝔃'𝓼

It has been a few days since the king of the Northern Kingdom and Jungkook took a tour on the whole kingdom. It was now a day before the young king will go back to his own kingdom. Nothing special really happened on the past three days just spending his afternoons with Elizabeth, going to some of the meetings with the king like before, and still trying to find the misterious boy from that night. He wasn't able to see Jimin either, he was really tired so when he entered his chamber he was immediately knocked out on his bed. The king asked the lady he met on the kitchen about the smallers whereabouts but she hasn't seen Jimin as well.

Those past days Jungkook was actually getting impatient about finding the boy too. Although it only has been a few days, And he knew finding him was actually not going to be easy but he really wanted to meet him right away. The spies he sent to the other kingdoms to find the boy didn't report anything regarding to the boy, he haven't heard anything from them aside from the one he sent here. Though the boy the man found wasn't the one he was finding.

Today, his sixth day at the kingdom, the young king has his schedule packed. In the morning he was meeting with someone important, he was meeting with their Dame regarding his kingdom on a nearby cafe on the palace. Then on during the afternoon he was going to get a few things from boutiques, bakeries and other shops to give it to the royal family before his departure from their kingdom tomorrow. After that he will go to some villages in the palace he wanted to help them, he thought about this when he was talking with jimin remembering that the boy mentioned about the poor people in the palace. He wasn't going to admit that he's doing this for someone tho. As they would just give goods to the people he assumed they would be back soon, so in the late afternoon he planned to train himself as jungkook wanted to improve his sword skills and maybe arrows as well.

After just a few minutes the young king found himself in front of the cafe where he was supposed to meet the Dame. He walked inside the bell near the door ringing as he does, the person near the door bowed at the king when she saw him then she leads him upstairs on one of the private rooms. The girl opened the door for him bowing to the king one last time before jungkook goes in the room. There the Dame was waiting for him sitting at one of the sofas in the room, once he saw Jungkook go in he bowed at the king as well jungkook nodded at him signaling him to sit down. Then jungkook sat down on the other sofa in front of the Dame, a server went in the door after that pouring the king and the latter a cup of tea.

"So how's everything going on in my kingdom?" Jungkook asked, blowing the tea to cool it down a bit then sips it.

"Aside from the king from the South declaring a war on you, everything else is fine your majesty." He replied sipping his tea as well.

"Are you fucking serious? We already signed a peace treaty with them!" The king said.

"Yes my king, however we just found out that that contract was fake." The Dame replied. The king placed his tea cup down rubbing his face with both of his hands in frustration. Then the latter continue. "Your Majesty, our troops aren't even ready for battle yet. They have been resting and a lot of our knights are still receiving treatment from the last battle, I don't think they can make it in time when the south attacks your majesty. I don't think we can win this with a lot of injured knights your Majesty."

The king sighed at this, he knows what the Dame was saying is true. Jungkook have a lot of knights serving him in his kingdom but due to their last battle the new recruits got injured due to their lack of training, the king thanked them for their bravery and sacrifice for the kingdom tho. If they didn't join the last battle their kingdom would've lost the fight. "So what do you suggest Dame Kim?"

"I really think that joining forces with the east would help us a lot in this situation your majesty. You might not be in favour with this idea but atleast do it for your kingdom your highness." The other suggested.

"Hmm...okay I'll talk to the king about this." Jungkook replied, plainly.

Just at that moment the king's world came crushing down he wanted to scream or cry, all his hopes on not marrying early has been crushed like sand. Jungkook was truly terrified in this moment, but he knows doing this would really help them with the upcoming war as the reinforcement from the north will give them a huge advantage. And the king would do everything just to keep his people, his kingdom safe even if it cost him everything. The news it self was bad but the thought of really marrying the princess made his day sad. He felt like he was a bird trapped in a gilded cage, yes he was king but he wasn't free at all. It was like destiny was playing with him.

The Dame excused himself from the king  after that, feeling sorry for the young king. He left as he has a lot of things to do in the other kingdom that includes training their knights right away to prepare them for battle right away. When he left shop jungkook was left in the room alone, the room was silent the king's eyes watering. Once again though he can't do anything about it. And he hated it.

It really sucks. He thought.
