Jungkook went back to their carriage holding tons of gift. Obviously for the person he was meeting today. He knows bought a lot just for a stranger that he doesn't even know if that person was his boy. But the king was really excited for their reunion, he was really hoping it was him. That he would finally meet him. Inside the carriage the young king and Taehyung sat facing each other. And on their way to their destination Taehyung can't help but notice that jungkook keeps on moving, can't seem to calm down.
"Jeon" Taehyung called.
"What?" The king replied looking at Taehyung but still keeps on shifting his sitting position. The counselor scoffed at this.
"Calm your tits kook, that boy isn't going anywhere." Taehyung said.
"I know! I don't know why, I'm just really nervous-" jungkook replied sweat visible on his forehead. "What if I fucked up y'know-"
"Everything is going to be fine kooks it's not like it's a date you're just meeting him for fuck sake" Taehyung once again said sighing a bit. He was getting a little bit frustrated with jungkook, he knows he was eager to see the boy in the mask but it wasn't something to be nervous about. Taehyung once again looked at Jungkook who calmed down after what he said, realising that the older was right.....there was nothing to be worried about. Right? "Also, wipe your sweaty ass off. You don't want him to see you looking like a wet cat do you?"
"Why not? i mean I look hot drenched in sweat right?" Jungkook said wiggling his eyebrows at Taehyung. Taehyung made a disgusted face and in annoyance the counsilor grabbed something near him and threw it at the king's face.
"Whatever." He said then looked at the window by the door ignoring jungkook who was complaining in the background.
They reached a small bar on the small village in the farms of the Northern Kingdom. However the king and his counsilor won't go inside the shop as no one in that area really knows that they are going there. Their coachman parked the carriage on a wooded area covered by trees on a small road leading to the village as well. Before Taehyung and Jungkook walked out they wore their long black coats or should I say robes wearing it's big hood to cover their faces not wanting to grab the peoples attention.
Once they left the carriage their coach man, wearing simple clothes as disguise brought all of the king's gifts to a room at the back alley of the bar. Then once all of the gifts were out jungkook and his counselor started walking there. Luckily no one really noticed them. Taehyung wasn't actually there to join the king in the room, he was just infact a lookout in case there were bad guys sent to harm the king.
It might honestly look like that plan would work. I mean, Taehyung was just his counselor probably didn't have any training in terms of fighting for the safety of him or someone else. But that mere counselor was actually one of the best trained knights in the palace. Taehyung's dad was the highest commander of the knights when it was the time of jungkook's fathers reign. The royal knight Kim passed away not long ago from a war just before jungkook's coronation.
Taehyung was in the battle as well. He was there fighting with the king and his dad, when he saw his dad fallen in the ground stabbed on his abdomen he can't help but try to save him. He tried to pull him to safety but unlucky a knight from their enemy saw them. His dad got hit by an arrow straight to his head killing him right away, Taehyung got severe injuries by fighting the knight who saw them. Jungkook's father was able to save Taehyung before the enemy could kill him he was almost in the brink of dying.
The injuries prohibited Taehyung from joining again once they were healed, he was not allowed to join in battles anymore. Jungkook actually was not font of Taehyung being his body guard right now but Taehyung insisted that he could fight looking at Jungkook seriously. The young king knew that Taehyung wouldn't take a no as an answer so he let him.
Once jungkook opened the door leaving Taehyung outside, he immediately saw a boy with blonde hair. But once he saw the boy's face he couldn't help but feel like it wasn't him but he still took a seat on a stool infront of the boy.
"So... what's your-" Before jungkook could ask his name the boy interrupted him with tears on his eyes. Those eyes doesn't look like his boy's eyes at all. This made Jungkook frown but let it go anyways, the boy then knelt down in front of him.
"Your Majesty! I don't know what's happening I did heard that you were finding someone but I swear it wasn't me I'm just a bakers son please spare me! I don't even know why I'm here!" The boy explained frantically tears still streaming on his eyes. Jungkook stared at him raising one of his eyebrows.
"Please sit down. I'm not here to kill you at all but I do have a question" the boy muttered a small yes when he sat down wiping his tears with one of his sleeves.
"Did you go on the party I held in the palace this year?" Jungkook asked, the boy shook his head at this then answered.
"I didn't attend this year's event your majesty I was baking some goods for the day after for my Pa's bakery" jungkook knew the boy was telling the truth so he immediately stood up put his hood on once again then walked out the door asking Tae to send the boy home. After that he started walking to the carriage once again.
When he finally thought he found him. His hopes just went back down the drain.
