5. Jealousy

" Okay, then what happened??" I ask kavi excitedly.

"Don't you want to guess it??" She ask me in a teasing way.

"No, I won't. My all guesses are going directly in to trash can. So, no, not at all." I said folding my hands in front of my chest. Sighing to my defeat.

They both laughed at me and I stomp my leg on ground.

"You both are so bad!!!" I whined looking at both of them, they are still laughing at me.

Listening to my whining there laughs turned in to more, they are literally laughing while rolling on ground.

"Done with your laughing now??" I ask once they sat on chairs like normal people sit.

"Yes!!!" They both said at once and I scoffed looking at them.

"Now will you please continue your story???" I ask them trying to maintain my anger on them.

"Okay, now smile!!!" Kavi said and I rolled my eyes to her giving her my tight lip smile.

"Is it enough???" I ask her sarcastically, but she nod her head.

"Tell me, what can I do to bring that broad smile on your face??" Kavi asked me.

"Maybe, a chocolate can do her magic on me." I said leaning on table by keeping my chin on my hands.

"Bribing is bad, Laxmi." I heard bro telling me.

"Bro please!!!" I whined again, he sighed before giving me not directly giving me. Actually smacking it on my head he gave it.

"Stop doing it, it's really a bad habit." He said to me but I already opened wrapper of it.

"But I like it.." I said as I took a bite and it's heaven...no one can take competition with chocolate for sure.

"Now, please your story continue!!" I said and Kavi nod her head.

Kavya POV...................

I stood there looking at him for sometime, and walked from there. I don't know who is he, I saw him first time. I emersed myself in work to not think about what my mom said.

At lunch time me, Neha and Upasana went to canteen to have food. Neha said that her husband came from his work and she is so happy for it.

And I felt happy for my friend, we walked in to canteen and I saw Shivam bro( Neha husband and Shang bro friend), with someone. There were waiting for us to join them, I walked with my friends but has to stop looking at the person beside Shivam bro.

He is the same one who I saw on terrace this morning. My friend dragged me there and my heart started beating crazily like it's just ran a marathon.

I never felt this restless in my whole life, but his presence making my heart to beat to run like it. My hands are sweating so much, they are literally shivering under table.

I hung my head down, not really having guts to look at him but I can feel his stares on me. Great in this way I will soon got admitted in mental asylum for sure.

I took a deep breath to control my inner lava, and to control my heart beat. Which is not at all stoping running in a marathon.

"Kavya, Upasana!!!" Shivam bro said drawing my attention on him. I saw him he is smiling to me and Upasana. He is a nice person.

"Meet him he is my friend, mihen Shang. But I call him Shang, we both work in same office." He said as he introduced that person.

Shang, isn't it is Chinese name?? But he doesn't look like Chinese, his features don't have any Chinese people have.

Wait Shivam bro said he works with him. That means he works in Indian army. So, it's confirmed that he is not a chinese.

What the hell I'm I thinking actually?? Why my mind turned like this?? Kavya, stop thinking nonsense.

"Shang, Kavya and Upasana. Neha friends." Shivam bro introduced us and to my surprise he gave me hand to shake.

Should I or not, no, yes, I was in a war against my mind and brain. Till he cleared his throat, I saw him he is staring at me. Taking a deep breath, I gave my hand to shake.

And yeah, his hand is so warm in this cold whether, I don't know how. And I felt those tingling sensation inside my stomach. And those butterflies who just started flying inside my stomach. Just waiting for the day to come out of my stomach.

He must have sensed my nervousness because he frowned when our hands touched eachother. My hand is completely drenched in sweat after all.

"Shang!!!" He said as he smiled and my heart did a somersault looking at it. Damn, he looks great when he smiles, Ok I lost it completely.

"Kavya!!!" I said as I took my hand hurriedly it felt like it will burn soon and smiled awkwardly to him. This is not going to end well, I know it very well.

He did same with Upasana, and I felt something different. I brushed that thought to back of my head. And we started having our lunch.

We all shared one another lunch, we all brought lunch boxes from home. And I even sensed Shang felt uneasy to eat my box.

But he didn't said anything and he completed it all.

We then went back to work, like that day completed. My mom asked me but I said I won't give up on my job.

Later I call Neha and she informed me that Shang got upset stomach because he is not used to eat spicy food. And he eat my food without saying anything, he could have said it out, right.

End of Kavi POV........

"Let me tell you Kavi one thing very clearly." I said taking deep breath and she frowned looking at me and my serious face.

"The thing you felt when my bro shook his hand with your friend is called jealousy." I said as I laughed out hard, now it's my time to laugh at her.

"OMG, Kavi!!! You felt jealousy on just mare shaking hands. Just imagine bro if you hug her even if it is a side hug. Kavi would have killed Upasana right there." I said as I laughed more while tears running down my eyes. And I even clutched my stomach.

Bro too joined me in laughing, making Kavi completely red due to embarrassing situation.

While laughing for some more time we both stopped looking at Kavi angry face. She is throwing daggers on both of us.

But on a serious note I felt that too funny, and I laughed again. Making her more angry.... taking it as a cue I went from there still laughing and Kavi chasing me..
