9. Pity

I hurriedly eat my dinner though I'm not hungry or not even have any appetite but still I completed my dinner. Ofcourse because of bro, he will never open his mouth if I don't eat and he will not even allow kavi to say too.

So, without having any choice or option, I eat my dinner which is delicious. After completing my dinner I directly went to living room, where bro is watching those boring news.

How can some people watch these news, isn't it is boring, like seriously boring. I went to him and sat beside him. He lazily turned his head towards me and again turned and kept his attention on TV.

I poked his biceps with my index finger, carrying a pout on my lips. He turned his head with eyebrows up.

"Why??" I ask him.

"What?? Why??" He ask me.

"Bro please naa, say it. You are not even allowing kavi to tell me. Why you married kavi?" I ask him shaking his hand.

He switched off TV, and I thought he is going to tell me but naa, he really enjoying my state now.

"I'm sleepy, laxmi. I'll tell you tomorrow." He said and I started crying.

"You are playing with me. How can you? I'm asking you, but you refusing me. I'm not talking with you anymore." I said as I buried my face in sofa.

"Laxmi!!!" I heard bro, voice I smiled.

"I'm not talking with you." I said still burying my face in sofa.

"Okay don't talk, but don't you want to listen too." I turned my face and smiled.

"You will say naaa, and no more playing with me." I ask him, and he nod his head.

"Promise!!!" I showed my hand and he sighed before keeping his palm on my palm and I grinned looking at him as I sat up on couch.

"Like I said before, that I like kavi....." Bro Started but what to do my mouth it always open and stop him in middle.

"Ofcourse, why wouldn't you? She always cook food for you with less spicy. Even withou...."I stopped in middle looking at bro pissed of face.

Okay!!! I messed up again.

"Sorry, I'll try to not to stop again." I said as I zipped up my mouth, lock it and even throw that lock far away. I just hope I can find that lock, when I need to talk. Otherwise.....uffff

"Good!!!" He said as I smiled to him.

Shang POV....................

Flashback............

I went to school everyday and day by day kavya looking dull and depressed. Though when she is with her friends smile but still she is looking lonely.

I thought to discuss it with shivam, and today I'm going to ask him the reason behind kavya being silent.

After dinner I asked shivam to come to terrace and I said I need to discuss with him something. I'm already on terrace waiting for him after some time he came and sat on swing.

I too sat beside him, "so, what do you want to discuss??" He ask me and I took a deep breath before telling him.

"What happened to kavya? I mean she always looks sad??" I ask him, at first he look taken back by my question.

Ofcourse why wouldn't he, I never discuss anything about any girl in my life and he knows it very well. But this time I want to know about kavya everything. I cleared my throat to get attention and it worked. Because he smiled to me.

"Kavya!!!" He started but stopped. I raised my eyebrows to him asking him to speak out.

"She is a good girl" he said and I closed my eyes taking deep breath.

"I know about it, I'm asking you about what happened to her to make her clam like now??" I ask him ready to knock him down. If he again think to play with me.

"Why are you sounding so desperate man??" He laughed but controlled it looking at my stern face.

"Okay, stop giving me that look now. I will tell you."

He started telling me what happened with kavya, how groom called off wedding blaming kavya. And how her family not supported her. And now they are forcing her to marry someone, who doesn't want her to continue her work.

I heard everything patiently to shivam, though right now I'm angry. How can they blame her, and now they all are forcing her. By the end of his completion, he sighed heavily.

"She is a good girl by heart. But no one understanding her even her family. She is lonely, Neha also worried about her. We are trying to convince her parents but they are not listening to us at all." He said.

"I'm going to ask her for marriage." I said and he looked at me completely shocked.

"What???"

"You listened me!!!" I said sternly.

"Okay, but don't hope that she will say yes." He said as I nod my head to him.

"I'm not hoping anything and I don't even force her. I just ask her if she agreed to it then we will get married. Otherwise..." I said as I shrugged my shoulders to him.

He nod his head and bid good night, I slept.

Next day directly at lunch time.......

We all are in canteen, ready to have lunch. I took a deep breath before opening my mouth.

"Kavya, do you have any special dreams or something like that for your future husband?" I ask her and she looked at me in complete shock.

Expected!!!

After taking good 5 minutes silence she opened her mouth.

"No, I don't!!!" She said as I took another relaxing deep breath.

"Good!!!" I murmured to myself.

"Will you marry me??" I ask her looking in to her eyes. If I said she was shocked before then she is more shocked than before.

Her mouth hung open with eyes popped out, she didn't blinked her eyes too.

"Take your time before letting me know your answer. I'm going out of station for nearly 10 days, after that tell me. Bye." I said as I walked out from there with shivam.

We both are going for some work....

End of Shang POV.........

"Do you feel pity on kavi bro? Why you ask her for marriage??" I ask him when he completed his side of story. He chuckled before shaking his head.

"Pity!!! Why you think she is pitiful, laxmi??" He back fired me.

"Only because her family doesn't support her, when she needs. But Doesn't mean that she is pitiful, laxmi. She is strong enough to face all those things but she didn't give up on anything.

She is beautiful, by heart and looks too. She is educated, she is standing on her legs without anyone support in her life. I don't feel pity on her on the other side I feel she is strong, very strong." He end as a big smile spread on his lips, praising kavi.

Oops!!! Praising his kavi.....

"Yes bro, your kavi is strong." I said as he laughed and nod his head.

"Now go and sleep it's late." He said as he stood up and I saw time it's just 10pm.

Who sleep at 10, isn't it is early. No probs I can use my phone pretending to sleep. I grinned at myself before standing on my both legs.

"Don't think you can use your phone. I'm shutting down networks now. You better go to sleep." He said looking at my grinning face as it fell down.

"Why you want to shut the network's down??" I ask him running behind him.

"For security reasons." He said and fall on my bed without having any idea what to do now.
